Who Makes The Best Music Out Of The Female Coaches On TVUSA?

Didn't expect the other topic to get a lot of replies (for an idf thread anyways) so thought I'd do the female version. This one should be fun, lol.

Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, shakira and Gwen Stefani (she seemed to be the favourite) were very popular in my family household lol. For some reason Christina never hit the same with us though.

 

Didn't care for early Miley, but her later stuff is definitely more enjoyable, and Jennifer I'm not even sure makes her own music, But a lot of her covers are gold.

 

That being said, hopefully this isn't too controversial, but out of the pop queenies I think Ariana Grande has the best music . Admittedly pretty biased though since she's the only one I've actually listened to an album or two rather than just the hits)

 

I don't think I've heard anything from Kelsea, and I only know Reba from the songs performed on the show which I actually don't mind.

 

 

Camilla Cabello is my clear least favourite though. I haven't cared for any of her hits, some are kinda annoying tbh, and even her fifth harmony stuff I'm indifferent too.

Best: Shakira. Donde Están Los Ladrones is a classic, and a lot of her earlier stuff is much more rock oriented and very witty lyrically if you speak Spanish. Plus she still has a couple of modern bangers up her sleeves. I like several of Alicia´s songs too, and Reba´s older material.

 

Worst: All my respect to her vocals, but I can´t name you a single JHud song to save my life. The few things I´ve heard apart from her known covers is uninteresting as hell. Camila is a close 2nd though.

I'm a huge fan of Christina Aguilera, Fighter is super hard to sing live, she's one of the musical influences of Ariana.

All of them have good music imo except Kelsea, I just don't know any of hers.

Best: Voted Gwen but could easily be Kelly, Miley, Alicia, Xtina or Shakira

 

Worst: Camila I’m sorry.

 

Needless to say that Kelly is the best vocalist.

Best: This is tough but I have to go with Shakira. Her career is insane, 30 years full of bangers (Ojos Así, Si Te Vas, Las De La Intuición, the Bizarrap session, the list goes on)

 

Gwen would be second, Tragic Kingdom and L.A.M.B. are fantastic albums. Other mentions are Ari (eternal sunshine was a nice surprise) Miley and Kelly (who have some of my favorite voices in the business)

 

Worst: Camila was one of my least favorite out of the pop girlies but her last album is actually really solid, especially the production (she worked with Rosalía’s producer so I shouldn’t be surprised) So I guess I’ll go with Kelsea by default.

I went with Ariana for best just due to a lack of familiarity with most of the others’ discographies. I feel like I need to listen to more from Shakira and Gwen to get a better sense of whether I would vote for then over Ari, who isn’t really a fave either.

 

I instinctively voted for Camila for worst but honestly my answer would probably be Kelsea since her songs don’t really appeal to me whatsoever. I’m also not sure about Jennifer since if we’re only counting originals I don’t know any of her stuff.

Best: I guess I'm gonna pick Gwen here, because I'm really grown into her materials but Kelly, Miley, Ariana, Shakira and Xtina are great too.

 

Worst: Hot take but I really love Camila's "I Luv It" lmao, it was a hot and fun mess  I somehow replayed that song a ton of times. I particularly disliked Senorita but other than that I kinda liked some of her materials?

 

I love JHud but her stunning covers aside, I don't think any of her original music really moved me.
