Best: For me, it was tough between Usher and Niall Horan.

I ultimately went with Usher. They're both great, though. Usher just feels a little more iconic to me.

Worst: For me, it was tough between Adam Levine and Michael Bublé.

I ultimately went with Michael because as someone who loves crooners, I loathe what he has done to modern "crooner"/swing/big band music. And he's all on his own, too; to many, he represents modern crooning, and that's just a travesty 😂 Don't get me wrong, I loathe what Adam has done to modern pop rock too, but he's not alone in causing that mess lol.

And if I had to choose an artist who's done more harm between the two, even considering how awful "This Summer's Gonna Hurt" and "Girls Like You" and "Animals-MALS" are, I gotta give it to Michael. All on its own, "Haven't Met You Yet" has caused more large-scale musical tragedy than any of those songs ever could 😂

So the review about Buble I copypasted on the general discussion thread is accurate?  Lmao.

I've listened to Maroon 5, Blake, Dan + Shay but that's it. I'm not super into any of them though.

Best: I can’t say I’m a big fan of anyone in this list but the few Usher songs I know are bangers so he gets my vote. As for the others, old Maroon 5 has some gems and Niall has a few songs I like (This Town, Heaven)

Worst: Not sure if I have ever heard a song by / featuring Chance but I’m sure I would enjoy whatever he has to offer more than Michael (Zzzzz)

So you are saying rappers like Chance are better than Michael?

Best: I´ll go with Snoop because he played a big part on The Chronic, which is a fire album, and Doggystyle, his debut, is also great. As far as Maroon 5 go, Songs About Jane is legit. That alone keeps him from being the worst. Blake´s debut album was fine too.

Worst: I´m gonna say Michael, mainly because he barely writes his songs, he mostly either covers standards or has his songs written for him. "Home" is a good song, but that´s about the only thing I think is worth it in his discography.

Niall's music is the only one that could have any appeal to me (maybe John as well) and yeah, i really like his first album. It has elements of folk (not a folk album, btw, it's still pop) that made me really enjoy it. In his second album he went full pop and yeah, not much of a fan of that. (I like pop but women own that genre), but it was still decent. I haven't listened to his third album.

I haven't listen to much of the others but i have listened to Maroon 5's biggest hits but those alone make me a Maroon 5's hater so that was my choice.

Idk, I don't actively like any of them? Maroon 5 probably has the most songs I like but also a lot of songs I dislike, I'm gonna go with Usher

Also I genuinely like Home, Hollywood, Lost by Michael... I get the criticisms of him but if you're saying he's boring I think the same applies to Niall...

Worst I'll go with Blake, many of the rest I either barely know anything by or I've heard some but they're relatively non offensive at least

Well I don’t know about Chance but there are many rappers I believe have way better discographies than Michael: Kendrick, K**ye, etc. Either way music is subjective.

Best: I don’t listen to any of them but I went with Pharrell not as a solo artist but as a producer. He produced “Sweet Life” by Frank Ocean and “Alright” by Kendrick Lamar (and “the light is coming” by Ariana Grande :giggle:) and that’s already more than enough to put him above everyone else.

Worst: Ehh, I went with Dan+Shay. They deserve at least one vote.

Would it be fair to say musically, that Snoop dogg is the most revered in their genre? A lot of these guys are mainstream and very successful but not necessarily thought of as the best of their genre.

Best: Between John Legend and Niall Horan

Worst: Ceelo. I hate his music with a lot of passion and he has the worst songs I've ever heard.

This is why I can't vote for him, I don't know a single thing he's done musically lmao

I'm surprised maroon 5 isn't running away with this especially with how prevalent their hit singles were, you could not escape them and we were all the worse for it.

Their first few hits save them. I kinda regret voting Dan+Shay though since I do remember thinking “Tequila” is a really good pop country song. Honestly Michael is probably the worst, I don’t like how his songs are just autotuned crooning.

Looking back, I regretted voting for Chance on the worst music. I really liked his song "Same Drugs", probably people including me were really salty that he eliminated Kala in favor of Ray, but that didn't mean he did not care about Kala. He even invited his former eliminated contestants to sing with him too, that was a moment.

If anything, I should have voted for Michael. Adam's early hits are my guilty pressures and Dan + Shay got a few songs I like too.

Best music goes between Adam (in his early years), Legend and Niall for me. Eventually, I picked Niall.
