the semi IS was able to avoid 5th 3 seasons cause someone did very bad and I don’t see that happening with anyone but Sydney but I see her in top 3

The victory is between Sofronio and Sydney, and I change my mind each day on who I believe will win out of these two.

TBH, I feel like 1 and 2 are the hardest to predict. (They're all difficult, but I feel like Sydney stands a good chance if she has an incredible finale night, doubly so if Sofronio does NOT have a good finale night [which is near impossible].)

 

(I also can't help but wonder if a lot of Sofronio's incredible social media numbers [which are drastically higher than the other contestants, frequently more than any of them combined] are largely due to him being from the Philippines. I could be completely wrong, but just from my memory, it feels like contestants from the Philippines in particular get HUGE YouTube/Facebook interactions from overseas, but many of those fans can't vote for them, so it doesn't always translate into success on the show. Either way, I agree with nessa97, that it's gonna come down to Sydney/Sofronio in the end.)

I see 3rd as Sydney's ceiling tbh, could flip with Jeremy depending on the performances

2nd/3rd: Shye/Sydney

4th: Jeremy

The 2nd/3rd place will be a tossup - based on this week only Shye will get 2nd and Sydney will get 3rd, it could be flipped if they decided to bus Shye to make way for Sofronio to win (avoid the team Michael voting split). Otherwise it's clear that Shye will be the runner-up, we will have a team Michael overall top 2.

Also I’ll just say I see a possibility for Danny going above 5th but it’s hard to predict since it’ll come down to the performances. For the past contestants who escaped IS curse they had a clear improvement in song choice from SF to finale (and also benefitted from someone having an underwhelming set)

 

Danny had a Stapleton song in his wheelhouse and sang it how you’d expect, still didn’t get a PV so I’m not sure how he improves on that. Maybe do something soft for once as his ballad?

If Sydney closes next week, she has a pretty good chance of beating Sofronio. Also, I think Danny can finish higher than 5th as he will get all of Team Reba votes. The casual votes will dominate next week, though, and there will be finale only voters that vote based on performances.

Making a bold claim and guessing Shye gets a slight pimp over Sofronio that'll give her a win since they cannot possibly give him the pimp spot 5 rounds in a row :dead:
