Lauren Michael Sellers - KO ("Hold On to Me") - I honestly didn't think she had a bad performance, even though she was never one of my faves. This was just comparatively my favorite of hers.

Katie O - Battle ("Lonesome Loser") - I was never crazy about her run on the show, but I thought the harmonies in her battle were excellent.

Edward Preble - KO ("Send in the Clowns") - Not even joking, this was one of my favorite performances all season, and it might be my all-time favorite crooner performance on The Voice US.

TBH, as someone who absolutely loves Frank Sinatra and a few other Rat Pack singers, Edward's "Send in the Clowns" fulfilled something I've been waiting to see in this show's crooners, who, at least in my memory, tend to almost exclusively perform upbeat Great American Songbook tracks. It was such a special moment to hear Edward singing a softer, subtler, more subdued ballad that highlighted how talented he really is and how beautiful, tender, and soulful his voice and tone can be.

I'm hoping that when we ever get crooners in the future, they will choose to go with more ballads and torch songs like "Send in the Clowns," rather than upbeat, swingy songs like "Luck Be a Lady" or "All of Me." (I'd have loved to hear Edward try something like "Angel Eyes," "One for My Baby," or "I Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry.")

Yeah it might be my favourite crooner performance on the show as well

But honestly, there's not much competition.

You're definitely right about the vast majority of crooner performances being Upbeat too.. not sure what's up with that

We still have yet to get a crooner to sing "Moon River"

Lauren: "Hold On To Me", I don't love any of her performances (and I thought Creigh was better in the battle) so this is kinda just by default.

Katie: "One Way Ticket",  I think this one did the best job of showcasing her tone out of all her performances. Not a fan of her PO at all unfortunately.

Edward: "Send In The Clowns", and it's not particularly close.
