Omg I'm pretty sure I've been spelling Jake's last name wrong this entire time...

 

Anyways, I guess I'm not too surprised by the results but I think Gabrielle's battle is her best.

 

Jose's PO performance is definitely his most impressive vocal, but I low-key prefer his audition. Ig I just think the song choice suits his voice better.

Jose Luis: After playing Jose's performances back, I voted for his audition. I still thought "No More Drama" was a 10/10, though.

 

Gabrielle: Knockouts. TBH despite the fact that I think her voice is fantastic, it sounded like she was struggling with her breath in some parts of her Audition and Playoffs, so it was harder to enjoy those. For me, between her battle and KO, I personally preferred her KO.

 

Jake: Audition, audition, audition. (I actually really liked Jake, and it's not that I thought he ever disappointed; I thought his Playoffs performance was gorgeous. But his audition was RIDICULOUS.)

1. Lay Me Down

- Feels a little weird voting for a battle over 3 solo performances but I liked his emotional connection in that song the best. His PO was great but I guess the one criticism I have is that he used the growl(?) in his voice too much, still should've advanced though

 

2. Going Going Gone

- I'll be the one vote here lol, SITO is definitely the better song but I think this was the better song for his voice? May have to rewatch but idk I didn't really like his BA

 

3. Used to Be Young

- Everything other than the audition was really strong though
