All 5 were solid. With this format, I'd have picked Sydney as Gwen's most finale potential, the rest doesn't matter, y'all should also be happy that she didn't pick Jake lol. My second choice was Jose Luis, I'd have wanted the one with the best performance to be rewarded, but I can see why Gwen picked Jan Dan. It's just random between these 3 again as I don't think any of those can reach the finale. Though I do agree that picking Jose instead would've soften the blow for some audience.

None of them were bad but I thought the first two clearly outperformed the other three. Can’t blame Gwen for choosing Sydney since she’s probably her only shot at Top 5, but eliminating Jose feels pretty egregious.

I agree with most people that this is a bad format. I get Gwen's picks and I'm fine with them, but Jose definitely should have advanced through as well.
