peachfuz
i see the phrase "all-timer" get thrown around a LOT for performances, but i'm curious to know – what performances from the last few seasons do people consider earnest, memorable "all-timers" (i.e., performances that are up there as the best in the show's history)? i'm kinda curious on what the consensus is because i feel like the "best of all time" performances that get mentioned a lot are very rarely performances from the post-pandemic seasons for the sake of setting perimeters, let's say performances from season 22 and onwards, since i would consider s22 to be the start of this current "era" of the show. bonus points for anyone who can list performances that aren't exclusively blinds and battles : P
peachfuz
i think there's only one performance i can name off the top of my head that gets thrown into the ring pretty often:

nytsch
Nini Iris - Lovesong and No Time to Die She should’ve been in a full format season smh At least for me I’d also throw in D Smooth - Location and Omar - In the Name of Love
Hsamid
S22 Kique - hey ya Parijita Bastola - jealous S23 Sorelle/Manasseh Samone - someone like you S24 Mac Royals - untitled (how does it feel) Chechi Sarai - lovin you Ruby Leigh - I want to be a cowboy's sweetheart S25 Asher Havon - unbreak my heart. Not necessarily my favorites, but I think if you were to ask a Voice fan which performances they remember from each season, these ones would pop up the most. I think I remember that Asher performance but the others not so much.
Weirdoo
The only ones I would say close to the high level of the show in its old seasons when you think 'memorable' are: Girl Named Tom - Wichita Lineman Kique - Hey Ya Gina Miles - Wicked Game Huntley - Daylight Nini Iris - Karma Police Edited November 18 by Weirdoo
Hamza Tufail
s22: Morgan - ARUTW (HM to Omar - ITNOL) s23: Sorelle/Manasseh - Someone Like You s24: Ruby - Like A Cowboy's Sweetheart/Long, Long Time (HM to Nini - Karma Police and Huntley - Daylight) s25: Only liked Madison and Karen this season, but I don't think any of their performances were all-timers. Landslide was great tho. Edited November 19 by Hamza Tufail

nytsch
If you HAD to put a Bryce performance here I'd choose his SF instead Honestly it would easily be his upbeat finale performance for me which was the only one I truly liked but I know this audience connects more with the country ballads. But at least the SF had that one good big note that was memorable

Say what you will about Bryce´s journey (terribly inconsistent, honestly shouldn´t have survived the POs based on that week, and I wouldn´t have given him the win), but he killed it on finale night, both times.

After listening to it again, in terms of country performances, that performance is on the same level for me as Grace's "She's Got You", and i LOVED that one so that's big compliment from my part. Hsamid
I'm not sure any performance on S26 qualifies as an all timer yet. Jose vs Austyns is close, but for the blinds, at the risk of sounding incredibly biased, gotta go with Cameron Wright..idk, their voice and choices were just perfect for the song, Beautiful performance.
Bouli
Jose Luis's performance last night was so ridiculously good, I'm not going to forget it for a while. It is 100% a "modern classic" for me - and up there with Kala Banham's "My Funny Valentine" elimination as one of the worst robberies of all time. I mean, good Lord, I feel like I need to report this robbery to law enforcement.
