Wow, I kinda actually preferred Cassidy on this. Pure and dead on with the high notes, and that crackling at the top end was just really appealing!  I guess I appreciated the lack of over-elaboration.

but admittedly I felt the placement of some of their vocal choices came across as "showy" which really doesn't fit with such a simple, heartfelt song like this...

 

Their vocal choices were much better in his blind imo.

That's gonna be their biggest challenge moving forward. Can they deliver a sincere vocal that doesn't come across as "Look at me! I can sing!"
