paparizouqueen
DST is ending here in Spain (and Europe) this Sunday 27th October and the US and Canada 3rd November, Meanwhile in New Zealand (30th September) and Australia (6th October) began. I open this thread to know your opinion about it and if you prefer to switch yout clocks or to stay only in winter time( standard time) or summer time (daylight time). My case here in Spain is our real time zone to be alligned with the sun is GMT or Western European time (UTC+0) however in the last century our dictator prefered UTC+1 (Central European time) because that is Germany located and our dictator was a ally of Hitler, also our lifestyle is very different like have lunch at 2pm or dinner at 10 pm. So our standard time in winter is 1 hour ahead but in summer we are 2 hours ahead (these last days at 8 am is when the sun is up. but in June we had sun until 10:30 pm). Maybe a good idea is to be in the middle of both 30 minutes between. But in the last years i heard they want to abolish DST in Europe. This map show the countries that uses DST (blue and orange), the countries that used before (white) and which ones never used (grey).
RTV
I wish TPTB would pick one time and stop switching back and forth. Besides the evidence that circadian disruption has negative health consequences, I dislike changing the clocks twice a year.

That's the worst part, now with the clocks changing one our behind is the worst one because you notice the dark very soon and is so depressing... here in a referendum some years ago won the option to stay in summer time by far in all the countries... but i see in the US also they want to stop it.
