OKAY werk there, Chandler & Brandon! That was so hot, fun and fierce! :bobo: She had a great mix of hip-hop feeling/vibe of the song but also had great Cha-Cha content in there. She had great partnering work, leg and hip action... and all in all, just worked it like the dancing queen she is! :bobo:

I missed like half the cast, but it’s embarrassing how much better Chandler is than everyone else

Ahh I do think some others are good - but yeah it is kinda crazy and kinda not so fun how just one person dominates everyone dance-wise. :haha: I wish others were closer or could give Chandler more of a run. :haha:

Chandler's sexy Rumba to "Don't Let Go(Love)" in the semi finals is coming!

Can we please get this? ❤️

it's giving Chandler D'Amelio! and Brandon is continuing to serve good choreo  i could be getting ahead of myself but i lowkey could see her coming for Charli's bag if she he keeps it up - she is much more animated and has cleaner lines than Charli did at this phase imo (and Charli is literally my fave contestant of all time).

A quick ranking of the dances off the top of my head, would probably be the following:

1.    Chandler & Brandon - Cha-Cha
2.    Joey & Jenna - Jive
3.    Jenn & Sasha - Viennese Waltz
4.    Ilona & Alan - Foxtrot
5.    Stephen & Rylee - Quickstep
6.    Brooks & Gleb - Rumba
7.    Phaedra & Val - Quickstep
8.    Danny & Witney - Foxtrot
9.    Eric & Britt - Foxtrot
10.   Dwight & Daniella - Cha-Cha
11.    Reginald & Emma - Foxtrot

Hmm the trickest ones are 6-8 for me. I enjoyed those but had some issues with them and think those are interchangeable for me. I actually feel pretty certain about the rest of the rankings.

Chandler is definitely the technically best by far, but Joey's musicality is crazy good (especially for a male celeb) and he's growing on me! And this was an amazing breakout week for Jenn, which makes me soooo happy cause I was scared she was gonna plateau.

I'm hoping Eric/Brooks are the double elimination boots, b/c while a Dwight boot would be ideal, I know to be realistic :dead:  I think the showmance storyline is ironically hilarious, but it's run its course for me and I don't think Brooks is good enough of a dancer for me to want her to stay. Eric for obvious reasons. Reggie I really like so I personally will not be rooting for his elimination any time soon   And I know Chandler is on top right now, but I'm lowkey already braced for a shock boot this week. Her fanbase is just so small in comparison that I can't count it out!

1. Chandler & Brandon - Cha-Cha: 27/30

2. Joey & Jenna - Jive: 24/30

3. Jenn & Sasha - Viennese Waltz: 23/30

4. Ilona & Alan - Foxtrot: 22/30

5. Stephen & Rylee - Quickstep: 22/30

6. Brooks & Gleb - Rumba: 21/30

7. Phaedra & Val - Quickstep: 20/30

8. Danny & Witney - Foxtrot: 19/30

9. Dwight & Daniella - Cha-Cha: 16/30

10. Eric & Britt - Foxtrot: 15/30

11. Reginald & Emma - Foxtrot: 13/30

Some thoughts:

  • Ilona is significantly better in frame than out of it, and she’s doing a whole lot better on the nerves front than she did in week 1.
  • Stephen has the showmanship and the footwork down pat, but not the musicality (though the latter has improved significantly since his jive).
  • Joey has kind of the inverse issue of Stephen, where his footwork needs refinement but his musicality is quite good.
  • I know he’s getting outclassed by everyone else there, but damnit, I enjoyed Reggie’s performance (I didn’t vote for them as it’s time for him to go, but I can appreciate a wholesome partnership while it lasts).
  • Jenn & Sasha are serving what Gleb & Brooks think they’re serving.
  • CHANDLERRRRRRRRRRRR (major major props to Brandon for that choreo, he seems to finally be hitting his stride on that front)

For the double elimination, Reggie & Eric should go because they’re the two weakest dancers left, but I think Brooks might be on the way out over one of them.

I really wanna be optimistic and hope that Chandler being the runaway best dancer will keep her around, but I feel like there are obvious shades of Sabrina Bryan. That was an insane Cha-Cha though. I support #ringerrepresentation

Just got around to watching the show. Some thoughts from me. Chandler stole the night.  The tearaways sent me.  It would have been hilarious if Brandon had tearaways too.  Joey has no reason to be as good as he is.  I think Danny was probably my third favorite of the night.  Why are Glebs dances always so slutty?  Don't answer that. Rosie was a treat on the judging panel.

Brooks/Gleb - LOL for two people who we are supposed to believe are showmancing they have absolutely no chemistry on the dance floor. There was zero heat from this rumba. For those of you who built this up as slutty? I was disappointed. Maybe watch more R-Rated movies. IDK.

Chandler/Brandon - Somebody once was admonished on Reddit for saying that Brandon was the whitest black man in existence. And it's true, we shouldn't police how Black (or any sort of ethnicity) somebody is because that paints how we view people in to very small boxes. But what's also true is that watching this I don't know how you can disagree with the original poster! Brandon's duck lips every dance gives me the ick. Chandler's very good, very charismatic, and if Brandon cannot get any further than 7th with her he deserves to be immediately fired. DWTS needs to stop using rap music.

Stephen/Rylee - There are some things you cannot really teach somebody and one of those things is rhythm. I think this is where Rylee being so young and her teaching abilities kind of hit a plateau. There's obviously last season getting the TRAGIC partner of Harry who had so little natural dance ability that I think that gave Rylee some grace, but Stephen here who is so much more naturally talented movement wise hit a ceiling here. This I think was worse than his week 1 dance.

Reginald/Emma - I don't really mind Reginald here. I'd take him over Eric. I think it's partially because like you know he's not going to win but I generally like seeing Emma dance. I like how game she is for this and how she choreographs for him and around him.

Eric/Britt - Meh.

Ilona/Alan - Someday this season you are going to hear a news report that somebody got thrown out of Dancing with the Stars filming because they were yelling at the costume designers on this show that they need to be thrown in jail for how Ilona keeps getting dressed. Who the freak is putting her in this outfit for a dance to "Lady Marmalade" because they deserve to be sentenced for their crimes. Ilona herself improves every week. I think she's our sneak in to the finale based on popularity contestant. I won't be mad.

Joey/Jenna - Joey is winning. We haven't had a male winner since Iman. Joey is liked as a Bachelor to like unprecedented levels. He's good. Jenna is an excellent choreographer. He wasn't perfect here. I don't think the 9s were necessarily deserved considering his footwork. But Jenna is clearly throwing a lot of content at him and he's picking up a lot.

Jenn/Sasha - They have the chemistry that Brooks and Gleb are trying to convince the audience they have. I don't even think Jenn and Sasha are really trying to showmance. This is the most I've liked Sasha in maybe forever. Maybe he needed like a clearly eligible single partner to elevate his choreography. LOL.

Dwight/Daniella - Y I K E S. That was a disaster.

Phaedra/Val - Val is such a good choreographer. That was fun. I like Phaedra a lot.

Danny/Witney - If I had watched this at the beginning or middle I would have already forgotten it.
