Portugal Blinds 1 Thoughts:

1. Rafael Ribeiro: This song is a jam.. he was totally artistic and in his own lane. I absolutely loved this audition. TURN!

 

2. Mafalda Ramos: That is a hard song to sing, and to sing with a piano and with such piercing high notes was brilliant! Loved her tone too. TURN!

 

3. Joao Sousa: I was waiting for a rock voice!!! Was so grunge, absolutely loved the song choice too. Can see him going far and is a favorite for me already. TURN!

 

4. Joana Sequeira: I thought she sounded nice but I personally didn’t connect to it and thought she used a bit too much vibrato. No turn.

 

5. Angelo Barbosa: Didn’t love his tone and interpretation of the song. It sounded very demonstrative and not from the soul. No turn.

 

6. Marcelo Moraes: It was a vibe but it didn’t use much of his range honestly and I’m looking for a vocalist. No turn.

 

7. Carolina Ceia: Nice operatic voice, sounded sharp on some high notes and not totally powerful enough for that song. No turn.

 

8. Bruno Correia: YES YES YES!! What a vocal showcase! His low notes, high notes, range was other worldly! TURN!

 

9. Mariana Cunha: And I think nobody would match Jeanick Fournier’s CGT audition of this song! Absolutely crushed it and is a contender. TURN!
