FIRST IMPRESSION - MEET THE QUEENS:

  1. Rileasa Slaves : I am sold! think there's a ton of potential there. And I just know that she will give us entertainment & be the confessional queen of the series.
  2. Marmalde: Her promo look is everything!  Love that she is a shad, and I know that she will slay the runway. 
  3. Charra Tea: I was sold the moment she said Nadine Coyle. 
  4. Kyran: Such a weirdo, and I am here for it. And I have a feeling that she could be a threat for the crown. 
  5. Chanel:  Her promo photo is everything, and I have a feeling that she could be an underdog. 
  6. La Voix: I do know her from The Queens of the Universe... While I like her, her video didn't do much for me though - too much of a recap of her resume. 
  7. Zahirah:  She either going to go far or be an early out... She's giving me chaos and I am living. 
  8. Suki Yew: Musical theatre? Sign me up!  But she does have tough competition so hope she's ready! 
  9. Actavia: I am intrigued by her drag but I fear she may be a first out?
  10. Kiki Snatch: I like the name, and like her personality. But compare to the other queens, I feel there's something lacking. 
  11. Dita: I want to root for her but I just wasn't connecting with her in the MTQ.
  12. Lill: Based on the video alone, I am not sold on her atm.

The RPDR:UK twitter posted them individually. I am sure it will be uploaded to Youtube eventually?

A good first episode. I like the different characters and don’t think there’s been a proper villain for a couple of series so that’s nice.

 

01. Kyran Thrax - Brilliant talent show and look. KILLED the lip-sync.

02. Lill - Love her already. I feel as if she’s going to be my favourite from the season.

03. Marmalade - She is the moment.

04. Actavia - Maybe one of the best dancer’s any franchise has seen? She’s already grating on me though.

05. Saki - I didn’t know what to expect but she was good tonight.

06. Zahirah - She was good.

07. La Voix - Can’t say I’m that impressed with her so far. I expected a lot more. Predictable talent show and I didn’t like the runway. 

08. Rileasa - Her talent show was forgettable next to the others.

09. Dita - I want to like her but there’s something that’s off.

10. Chanel - Terrible talent show and runway.
11. Blu Hydrangea - I wanted to like it but it just wasn’t funny.

12. Kiki - I just heard noise.

It feels pre-emptive to say it but Kyran had winner energy all episode. What a great showing for her.

 

Judging was actually good which was a nice relief after what we've been seeing on Global. I thought the top 2 was correct, but glad that Kiki, Actavia, Lill and Rileasa all got some well-deserved praise.

 

I'm intrigued by Chanel. She left no real impression on me in the MTQs. But I think she could make a good villain.

Lill is my favorite after week one, everything she does is so wacky yet polished.

 

Rileasa literally looks like Rihanna. I swear now Rih is going on Drag Race she’ll do anything to put off releasing new music smh

Premiere was great.  I need more time to cook on all of them before i can definitively rank them, but this cast already looks more appealing to me than the last 2.

 

Kyran was the standout of the episode to me.  I don't even know what I was watching in that cabaret number.  

 

I also thought Rihleasa looked remarkably like Rihanna.  She had one of my favorite talent numbers.

 

While I think Kiki is beautiful in drag, her bad xtina runs in her performance were not it for me.  

 

I also thought boy Charra is Blu's twin.

 

Shout to Zahira (Spelling).  Stunning, I hope you're the first asian queen that does well on Drag Race UK!

Good episode. This is a promising start to the season but I wish they would’ve just eliminated someone.

 

01. Lill - Cemented herself as my favourite. She’s just amazing. I was worried about the lip-sync but she slayyyyyyyed.

02. Marmalade - She continues to be the moment.

03. Charra Tea - I actually quite liked it.
04. Chanel - I didn’t love it and won’t forgive her for trying to throw Lill under the bus. 

05. Zahira - She’s going to be gone very early on.

06. La Voix - That cheap wig with the terrible creation together. No.

07. Kyran - A complete fail compared to last week.

08. Dita - Basic.

09. Rileasa - Safe… how?

10. Actavia - It was bad but no where near as bad as below.

11. Kiki - This was terrible. One of the worst garments ever.

Really liking this season so far (even if it's only been 2 episodes). Pretty bummed about Saki, I feel bad for her & I was really interested in what she was gonna bring :( I hope she gets a chance to return

 

Lill is my runaway favorite right now and it honestly isn't even close, which is crazy because I really like a lot of this cast. As far as design looks I'd rank them~

 

1. Lill - Beautiful, idc how much of it she made, because she looked better than Chanel anyway!

2. Marmalade - Beautiful, love her walk, love her overall

3. Chanel - I kinda live for the c*nt factor she's bringing to the werk room but I think the garment itself needed a little editing!

4. Zahirah - The low placement was kinda ridiculous. Basic, yes, but very clearly better constructed than literally anyone outside the winning group :dead: 

5. Kyran - Good concept, fit was a little weird

6. Charra - It was solid, but the dress cut off weird and her walk took me out of it :(

7. Rileasa - Boring and a little ugly, but not a trainwreck

8. La Voix - Mess

9. Dita - Mess

10. Actavia - Mess

11. Kiki - Mess
