How far would Kaylee Shimizu and Kala Banham had made it they were chosen to move forward to lives?

1. Top 8 for Kala. I don't think she would have made finale but if she did, she'd be fifth place.

 

2. Kaylee most likely would have won because looking at Facebook, Minivan was fully on board with her and they were all angry at John for being dumb. I've seen a lot of comments from the moms and grandmas calling her the winner. Huntley would have been second place. I saw a lot of support towards her from Minivan since they love young teenage girls.

They love middle-aged white men a lot more and you know it.

The problem is she chose John. Nobody will ever win again on John’s team, because he’s an idiot. 
 

So, I’ll say 2nd or 3rd place. 
 

In the right situation, with the right coach, she could definitely contend for a win.

Kaylee - Either 3rd or 4th. Mara was also really popular.

Kaylee on Team Legend would be 3rd at best. He's no Kelly Clarkson.

 

Kala's fate would depend on whether TPTB wanted her in the finale or not, and her performance slot. If in the finale, she would've placed 4th cause n**vas sucks.

On paper Kala has the female and adult disadvantages on her, but I would say she could get Top 4 ngl.

 

She appears non-threatening, humble, excited to be there, and wasn't on a disliked coach's team. Tone is pleasant even if her style is polarizing but she did well in not using it too much like other Indie singers sometimes do. Let's consider her song selection too, it was pretty great and she had her breakout in the Playoffs which plenty took note of her by then(easy PV if they got to vote)

 

Sure if she doesn't sing well and gets a bad song it would ruin her chances, but let's say everything went well for her, I think she gets more votes than one of Sorelle/N**vias(I'd say both)

 

Kaylee has a strong Finale shot, but it's John and who knows where it'll go with him. I'd say she gets 3rd at the very least, but if she had Kelly or even Niall, she could walk the season.
