Chris & Dianne are my fav this season😇😇. [They have a solid chance to win this season]

Looking forward to their Jive this week.

I know it's far too soon to say but yeah I think they have a pretty strong chance of winning too. The audience loves Chris and he comes off really well and hilarious and his dancing is better than expected. So I think if he can keep this up for the long haul, he could possibly win.

Tasha and Aljaz are also good but i think they might also get the criticism in the later stage just like Layton got last season.

Chris and Dianne seems to be a lock for atleast semis even if they give decent performance not great one.

Their social media numbers say it all for them. And i think they can dominate this whole season with that numbers.

Jamie and Michelle were my pre season favourite, but it feels like producers don't like them 😑

It feels like they are trying to bus them( I know its early to say this)

Forgot to share my thoughts from the last show but! This is roughly how I'd rank them~

1. Tasha & Aljaz - Viennese Waltz: I mean, come on! She is such a beautiful dancer. Last week, I thought her cha-cha had this messier edge to it that I didn't love, but she shut me up this week because her precision was insane. Gorgeous lines, gorgeous movement... like this is almost a 10 to me. 37/40

2. Sarah & Vito - Paso Doble: I didn't love her dance last week, but she really stepped it up this go around! I did think she had a passage or two where she lost her balance, but the rest of the dance was so clean and she danced with so much conviction that it made up for it, to me! I really like her. 32/40

3. Montell & Johannes - Samba: She has this exuberance to her that is just soooo infectious and I love watching it ❤️ The first half was very slightly choppy, but she really came into the second half of the dance and I loved it a lot! 31/40

4. Shayne & Nancy - Tango: Most improved award goes to! So much more precise and with the music, technique was all there, I think there are just some times when he gets ahead or behind the dance. Even then, still an excellent performer and someone I wanna see go far. 30/40

5. Jamie & Michelle - Rumba: One of my favs this week! My biggest issue was the first half's choreography (which isn't really Jamie's fault), which I thought had the two of them separated too much for this style :giggle:But still, pretty good dance! 30/40

6. JB & Amy - Cha-Cha: Absolutely my favorite male this year! He has tons of natural charisma and his dancing has the right mix of sharpness and fluidity that I think will reeeeaaaally work for him down the line. This dance was a little bit stop-go for me, but I still enjoyed it! 28/40

7. Wynne & Katya - Viennese Waltz: Wynne is a surprise for me! I didn't think he'd be as good as he is, but he's honestly one of the best men this season and probably my dark horse pick to win? I thought the dance was very pretty, but he's visibly thinking through the routine rather than performing it. Still, what he did was nice, and I think he's on his way up! 25/40

8. Chris & Dianne - Foxtrot: What a lovely little dance! I enjoyed this much more than last week and I think that Chris showed a lot more promise as a dancer. I think he needs a hair more softness but this was definitely better than I expected. 24/40

9. Sam & Nikita - Charleston: I loveeee her and her energy so much! Lovely routine, but there were definitely some timing issues that threw it off a bit. 24/40

10. Dr. Punam & Gorka - Foxtrot: This song and costume choice for a foxtrot was ridiculous (but Gorka's sexy so I'm not complaining) :dead: As far as the dance, I was hoping she'd be stronger in ballroom! It was too 1-2-3-step for my liking, and it felt more like a rehearsal than a performance. 22/40

11. Pete & Jowita - American Smooth: Definitely better than last week, but there's this noticeable rigidity to his dancing that's just not working for me. I hope he can loosen up so more as the weeks go on, because this routine kinda just left me feeling meh. 21/40

12. Nick & Luba - American Smooth: Not really feeling him yet, and this dance didn't do much to change my mind. I just found it pretty stiff and meh. 20/40

13. Tom & Nadiya - Cha-Cha: I like him, but this one was pretty rough :( Sooo robotic, and not enjoyable to watch. I'm kinda bummed that he went home because I do think he had some solid potential! 18/40

14. Toyah & Neil - Jive: I honestly lowkey stan her because her energy is ridiculous   She has this frantic quality to her dancing that kills me BUT I do think the jive was the best dance for that so I can't be too mad! But still, barely even a minute of dancing in this choreo and not a whole lot of technique. 16/40

15. Paul & Karen - Salsa: Hot mess. 12/40

Ahh yeah, Tasha & Aljaz seem like the couple that will be one of/amongst the strongest of the season but not have much public support behind them. And will likely have to have the judges dance-off votes to get them through to the final.

Agreed completely with you on this.

Aww I hope you are wrong about that regarding the producers. :( I think it's still quite early but hopefully things go more in their favor going forward.

Oh dear, I'm just catching up on ITT right now. It sounds like Nick got yet another injury earlier today in dress rehearsal. Last weekend (after the Week 1 show), he had a shoulder injury after changing a tire in his car. Today he had a knee injury in rehearsals. So he got a bye and won't be performing tomorrow. :(

Ooof with all of these injuries, I'm honestly don't know or see Nick properly coming back and wouldn't be surprised to see him withdraw next week. :( I really hope that won't be the case and he can properly recover. But two different injuries at Week 3 is just insane.

I don't think it's fair to the others he got a bye but wish him the best.

Ah yeah, I understand that. It's always been like that on Strictly up until about Week 10 or so?

First three dances' scores:

Montell & Johannes - Tango: 7/7/7/7 = 28
 Toyah & Neil - Samba: 3/4/4/4 = 15
Chris & Dianne - Jive: 7/7/8/8 = 30

- I would be shocked if Toyah survives this week with that score but who even knows? :haha: I look forward to this hot mess Samba though.
- Also saw mix thoughts on Montell's dance. Some felt it was her weakest so far.
- Saw mostly positive thoughts on Chris' Jive.

Next four dances:

Tasha & Aljaž - Rumba: 8/8/9/9 = 34
Paul & Karen - Cha-Cha: 3/5/5/6 = 19
Sarah & Vito - Viennese Waltz: 8/9/8/8 = 33
Pete & Jowita - Samba: 6/6/7/7 = 26

- Reading lots of praise and compliments for Tasha's Rumba. And wow yay another high score for her too!
- LMAO I'm reading so many bad comments on Paul's dance and people wondering what the heck that was? :lmao: lmao this has me excited to see this mess. His scores ended up being better than I thought.
- Sounds like Sarah's VW was really beautiful and was a strong & stunning dance. Sounds like a lot of people were emotional after it.
 - Seeing mixed thoughts on Pete's Samba. Some felt it was fun and entertaining. Some didn't think it was technically done well. Sounds like it was fun and silly and Pete really embraced the theme. Oooh he's another one that far exceeded my expectations with those scores. 😮

Next three dances:

JB & Amy - American Smooth: 7/8/8/9 = 32
Sam & Nikita - Paso Doble: 7/8/7/8 = 30
Shayne & Nancy - Viennese Waltz: 8/9/8/8 = 33

- Seeing mostly positive thoughts on JB's American Smooth with many thinking it was lovely and beautiful. Some negatives I saw were some thought it was on the slow/boring side. Also read that the other members of JLS are there for him in the audience so yayy for that!
- Seeing comments on Sam looking great/the part of Lara Croft. The dance had mixed thoughts. Some thought it was danced well. Some felt it lacked attack and power needed for the Paso. But ooo a great improvement in scores for her!
- Seeing all over the place/mixed thoughts on Shayne's VW. Oooh but yay another great set of scores for Shayne.

Dances left: Wynne, Punam and Jamie. Wynne already closed so I doubt he'll close again. Can see either Punam or Jamie closing with their dances.

Last three dances:

Wynne & Katya - Cha-Cha: 7/7/8/8 = 30
Dr. Punam & Gorka - Couple's Choice: 8/9/8/8 = 33
Jamie & Michelle - Quickstep: 8/8/7/7 = 30

- Seeing lots of positive thoughts on Wynne's Cha-Cha. Sounds like it was hilarious, a lot of fun and well danced. I'm sure it was a crowd pleaser for the audience. Omg it seems like there are so many 30 scored dances tonight.
- Sounds like Punam's Bollywood Couple's Choice was really fun and well done. People appreciated seeing something new and different on the show. It sounds like Punam was really enjoying herself here. Also sounds like Gorka fully embraced himself into the dance too. Oooh wow by far her best scores, which I was expecting. But oh wow, another 33. :haha:
- Not surprised with Jamie's Quickstep closing the show as there is a lot of hype around it. Sounds like this was a very good dance from him and people enjoyed seeing his fun side/having fun with his characterization. Though sounds like the costumes were distracting. Oh and some negatives thought it was a bit too frantic/messy. But lmao omg not another 30.  :dead:

10. Montell and Johannes: 28 (8 points)
11. Pete and Jowita: 26 (7 points)
12. Paul and Karen: 19 (6 points)
13. Toyah and Neil: 15 (5 points)

- Gahh, so many ties... and Montell being so below behind them has me really worried for her. 😭 I'm certain she can beast Toyah or Paul easily in the dance-off. But her being down there this soon is worrisome. Tom was in a better leaderboard position, landed in the Bottom 2 and went so ahh I'm nervous!

- I do think Toyah is very likely to be in the bottom and go this week. I do fear about Paul's fanbase and if he'll be safe. I do feel like any of the Bottom 4 of Montell/Pete/Paul/Toyah could be in danger. Maybe Sam could be in danger too?

Ugh I'm worried for Montell too. :( I think she can beat a few others in the dance-off. But being down there so soon is something I'm scared about for her.
