*Wallace
As I often love to do, I'll do a Youtube views post of this week's dances! I'm not sure if I will be able to do this two times a week like I have done in the past (like mid-week and at the end of the week). Maybe some weeks I can. We'll see, but I'll certainly do hope to post a views post once a week. Here is a nearly full week of Youtube stats update of this week's dances! Week 1 Dances Views + Likes: 1. *Wallace
Scores for the first 3 dances (and will include their total scores from the first 2 weeks): Tom & Nadiya - Cha-Cha: 3/6/5/6 = 20 (43) Dr Punam & Gorka - Foxtrot: 4/5/4/5 = 18 (37) Paul & Karen - Salsa: 2/4/4/5 = 15 (32) Ooof yeah, def off to a rough start. Not surprised Tom and Paul scored lower than last week. I was hopeful for Punam to be better at ballroom though. I'm also seeing complaints of how Shirley and Anton scored Punam and Paul the same scores. Sounds like Paul's dance was a major trainwreck so I'm lowkey looking forward to it. *Wallace
Next 3 dances: Wynne & Katya - Viennese Waltz: 7/7/8/8 = 30 (56) JB & Amy - Cha-Cha: 7/7/6/7 = 27 (58) Sam & Nikita - Charleston: 4/6/6/6 = 22 (45) Seeing lots of great comments for Wynne's VW stating that it was like a very traditional and classic VW. Impressive scores too. I underestimated him and think he could be a dark horse here. - Sounds like JB's Cha-Cha had a commercial/hip-hop feel to it. Good scores but aww was hoping he would have scored higher. - Seeing lots of mixed thoughts on Sam's Charleston. Some loved it and thought it was great. Some thought she could have performed more/lacked swivels. Ouch at the 4 from Craig. And aww I thought/hoped she would have improved in her scores. *Wallace
Middle three dances: Chris & Dianne - Foxtrot: 6/7/8/8 = 29 (52) Jamie & Michelle - Rumba: 6/7/7/7 = 27 (50) Toyah & Neil - Jive: 3/5/5/5 = 18 (30) - Sounds like Chris' Foxtrot was pretty good and impressive. Seeing lots of positive comments for this. - Sounds like Jamie did well for a Week 2 male Rumba. Some had issues with his performing of it but felt he did dance it well. Lots of people are not liking their outfits so I am so curious about this. A 27 for a male rumba this soon is great. - Looks like Toyah was better this week but still not very good. Sounds like there was a lot of faffing about and lacking of Jive content. Oh snap.... an 18. She did much better with this Jive than her Tango, which I didn't see coming. Maybe this was enough for her to survive - all depends on who she's up against in the dance off.

*Wallace
Next three dances: Nick & Luba - American Smooth: 5/5/5/6 = 21 (39) Montell & Johannes - Samba: 8/7/7/8 = 30 (56) Tasha & Aljaž - Viennese Waltz: 8/9/9/9 = 35 (65) - I'm seeing lots of comments of how his song choice "Parklife" is such a wrong fit for an AS. What is it with the songs for American Smooths this year? My gosh! Hopefully they are saving the good song fits for the good celebs later this year lol. Other than that, sounds like Nick did well under the circumstances and his injury. Ooof they only had 16 hours to rehearse. - Sounds like Montell's Samba was fairly good. Some did feel a little let down and was expecting more from it. But comments to range from pretty decent to great. And yayy she's topped the (this week) leaderboard with Wynne so far! - Sounds like Tasha's Viennese Waltz was fantastic. Which shouldn't be a surprise with how great of a dancer Tasha is + Aljaž with his ballroom choreography. You can't beat Aljaž with ballroom. Many people saying this is the dance of the night so far! Danggg at 3 9's already! Can't wait to see this dance!

*Wallace
Last 3 dances: Shayne & Nancy - Tango: 7/8/8/8 = 31 (52) Pete & Jowita - American Smooth: 4/6/6/6 = 22 (39) Sarah & Vito - Paso Doble: 8/8/8/8 = 32 (62) - Sounds like Shayne improved and that his Tango was pretty good/solid. Wow really great improvement in scores. He's second this week behind Tasha so far (though Sarah could rival that). - Seeing lots of all over the place thoughts on Pete's AS. Sounds like it wasn't too good technically speaking but it was a great/charming/enjoyable performance. People are noting that Pete/Jowita do have strong chemistry. Sounds like it was better than the Paso. Nice improvement in scores for him though. - Sounds like Sarah had a really good and solid Paso - with great dancing/performing in it. A few comments called it the best of the night. Her 32 does put her as the second highest scorer behind Tasha.
*Wallace
Overall Leaderboard for Weeks 1 & 2: 1. Tasha and Aljaz: 30 + 35 = 65 (15) 2. Sarah and Vito: 30 + 32 = 62 (14) 3. JB and Amy: 31 + 27 = 58 (13) 4. Montell and Johannes: 26 + 30 = 56 (12) =. Wynne and Katya: 26 + 30 = 56 (12) 6. Chris and Dianne: 23 + 29 = 52 (11) =. Shayne and Nancy: 21 + 31 = 52 (11) 8. Jamie and Michelle: 23 + 27 = 50 (10) 9. Sam and Nikita: 23 + 22 = 45 (9) 10. Tom and Nadiya: 23 + 20 = 43 (8) 11. Nick and Luba: 18 + 21 = 39 (7) 12. Pete and Jowita: 17 + 22 = 39 (6) 13. Punam and Gorka: 19 + 18 = 37 (5) 14. Paul and Karen: 17 + 15 = 32 (4) 15. Toyah and Neil: 12 + 18 = 30 (3) I think Paul, Dr. Punam, Toyah and Pete are probably the ones most in danger. I think Pete will likely be most fine of those four. I also had Nick in mind but think he'll be fine. I wonder and worry about Dr. Punam and if she has a fanbase for her. I think she would very likely be down there. I'd rather see Paul and Toyah down there, but I feel like one of them could avoid being in the Bottom. Although if they are the B2, I'm fine with that. I do think Punam could beat either Paul or Toyah in the dance off.
*Wallace
Week 2 Thoughts! Lol the judges dancing opening was cute. Lol at Anton falling behind and going offbeat with it though. Tom & Nadiya - Cha-Cha: Ooof Tom getting the Cha-Cha this early is a REAL challenge. It's no surprise that the Cha-Cha came off really unnatural to him. Aww the golfing bit they did to help him get into the Cha-Cha mood was interesting but fun. I love their song choice to "Boogie Wonderland" and this is a fun opener! Ahh yeah this Cha-Cha was tough and didn't feel too natural on Tom, sadly. He did give it a go and a great effort. He looked like he was trying to have fun but he also looked nervous and terrified. I did notice a few little mistakes and ahh that poor mishap with Nadiya's outfit. He did okay with the partnering work though he did seem on the stiff and rigid side with his dancing. I can't get Anton with the mix of dynamic and hesistant side. But also agree with Craig that the dance didn't sit right on him and lacked fluidity and him needing to dance to his height. It was a bad style match for Tom but he tried. Ooh and I must say that Nadiya looked like such a Disco Goddess! I think the overall score of 20 was fine - 6s were a bit nice and 3 was a bit harsh. I'd go with a mix of 4s/mostly 5s. Dr Punam & Gorka - Foxtrot: I do feel more hopeful for Dr. Punam for the Foxtrot. Though a Foxtrot to "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is a strange and interesting match. Oooh lol Dr. Punam taking him to a clothing store to have Gorka try on some kilts was fun to watch. Cute segment. LOL I love how they re-created the music video with their looks here. Okay yeah this was such a weird style/song combo match which didn't completely work for me. I do think Dr. Punam had fun showcasing the fun and sassy side here. She had fun and was enjoying herself as a performer. She has a good sense of confidence as a performer which is great to see as a non performer. The Foxtrot content in hold was okay. It didn't seem too strong and all the way there and the footwork wasn't all the way there. It was on the shaky/floppy side. I did really like that part where she did those long kicks in hold towards the end. That was fun. Aww her mother being so proud of her in the audience was so cute. I think the mix of 4s and 5s for an 18 were fair though I'd go more on the 5s side. I do think another point or 2 for a 19 or 20 would have been fair as well. Paul & Karen - Salsa: Oooh dear, I am SO nervous for this "Fireball" Salsa from Paul & Karen. I have no hopes for him here. Karen talked it up really well. But oh dear Paul in some of these rehearsals sure was something. lol The BBQ theme was fun. OOH DEAR yeahhh this was the trainwreck I was hoping for. Dear gosh this was a MESS and a half. Paul mostly either walked the Salsa basic steps or he was just so rigid and harsh with his ~dancing~ where it just came off as walking or really jerky movements. The lifts..... most of the lifts were good. They were fun to watch but some of those lifts had me worried for my/Karen's life. Oh dear. Then Paul had some solo moves that I had no idea what he was doing. I felt like Karen was working overtime to make this dance work and just.... wowzers. This was prime drunk dad dancing. Omg comedy dancing at a wedding from Craig. He ain't lying. And yeah Karen was dancing all over and around him. I.... even felt like that 15 was generous? Yikes. I can't even get mad at Craig's 2 as it was lowkey kinda fair. Anton was absurd with that 5 but I am not even surprised. I'd go with a mix of 2/3/4's here, mostly 3s. Wynne & Katya - Viennese Waltz: Lol at the bit Wynne did with the band before his dance. It's nice that Wynne wants to showcase his opera side and a more personable side of it? I did worry for Wynne with the Viennese Waltz. But by now, I should never doubt Katya and her partners as she really brings the best out of them. Wow it's really nice seeing a lovely and traditional Viennese Waltz here. Wynne was a charming gentleman with how he danced and performed this. This dance reminded me of something you would see at a ballroom dance competition. Okay so I don't like some of Wynne's head placements when they dance in hold. Something feels a bit off there. But other than that, this was surprisingly really good. This was a very beautiful and stunning dance. He was smooth and elegant. He partnered, led and showcased Katya really well. His footwork looked good. He was just charming and did very well with a traditional dance. Also Katya was so stunning in how she looked and danced this! lol at Wynne hugging and/or kissing all of the judges after the dance. Ooh dear @ Craig vs. Shirley here. Wow a mix of 7s and 8s for a 30 total was fantastic and not expecting that. A little high for me but I do moreso agree with the 7s. He's doing so much better than I was expecting though. JB & Amy - Cha-Cha: Oooh I don't know or think I ever imagined a Cha-Cha to Ne-Yo's "Closer." But I love the song and am so looking forward to this. Ooh this dance has a music video theme to it, which should suit JB really well. Okay I did really enjoy this and thought this was stylistically a really fresh, fun and funky Cha-Cha. JB did have a very natural and cool ability with dancing and performing this. especially with his solo bits. It felt right in the pocket. He did well with the Cha-Cha basics. However something did feel a little lacking? I think I wish it had more recognizable Cha-Cha content in the first half of the dance. I felt and saw more of that. Maybe it just had too much of a commercial/music video feel to it where the Cha-Cha was a bit missing at times. Hmm maybe Anton was onto something with the dance lacking fluidity and Craig saying it had too much attack and was too spiky? But he was natural with how he danced/performed this. Not here for Shirley's 6 but I guess I get it - I do think the 7s were more fair. Sam & Nikita - Charleston: Oooh haha it was fun how Sam brought and introduced Nikita to her world of hockey. lol Nikita was so hilarious and fun in that part of the intro. The hockey theme for a Charleston is interesting but this should suit Sam. Okay this was a really cute, fun and adorable Charleston. There were definite noticeable sync issues at the start where Sam couldn't keep up with Nikita was sad and unfortunate. I can kinda get how she had some messy footwork and some of the lifts weren't executed so well. This was a very compact and ambitious routine, which could have been a little too much for her to handle. I was just thinking of Rhys' Charleston to the same song... and this one wasn't quite there. Sam did perform the dance and had a lot of fun. I do think she's got a lot of great potential in her performing and her dancing to come. Kind of a mixed bag dance but it was lots of fun. Craig's 4 was way too harsh but I think the 6s from the other judges were fair. I'd go with a 23/24. I think this was maybe a step down from her Foxtrot. Chris & Dianne - Foxtrot: I am really interested in seeing how Chris tackles and takes on the Foxtrot. I think Chris & Dianne have a great working relationship and do bring the best out of each other. It's fun seeing how they learn/rehearse together. Aww I thought this was a really sweet and charming Foxtrot. I thought this was so enjoyable as well. The opening with them dancing on the bench was cute. I thought Chris did and danced the basic Foxtrot content fairly well here. He led and partnered Dianne well and he danced this very smoothly. The dance had a smooth and effortless feel to it. He performed the out of hold parts well too. Ah yeah I do think Chris lost his frame as the dance progressed. Okay yeah, Chris so far is doing better than I expected. He's charming and lovable to the audience where I think he could really go the long way here. Ooh and also Dianne looked so pretty and stunning in this dance. Purple is such a great color on her. LOL Chris is so feisty to Craig. A 29 was great though a little on the high side. I think the 6s and 7s were fair though the 8s were a little too high. But yeah I'd go with a mix of 6s/7s for a 26 or 27 total. Jamie & Michelle - Rumba: Lol Jamie saying he's channeling his inner Westlife with his denim getup. These are reallly interesting outfit options for their Rumba. I never would have thought of them dancing a Rumba with these outfits. It's crazy getting a Rumba this early into the series. Oooh I loved seeing Michelle's Rumba explanation of the Rumba in the video and the mix of that and Jamie learning the dance. lol I love how Jamie brought up the fact of no one doing a Rumba this early in 15 years. OK I know this got unfairly compared to Kelvin & Oti's - and this dance was never going to compare to that, but I still thought this was solid from Jamie. I did love the modern/contemporary hip-hop esque feel to this. But okay this was a steamy little number and Jamie & Michelle had some hot chemistry here. But I also can't lie... Michelle is phew... crazy to watch her as she really dominates the dance for me. She's dynamic and so wow. But you know Jamie held his own. He had some good Rumba basics with his technique and he showcased some really lovely stunning lines. He partnered and showcased Jamie well. He was smoother and more elegant here though he could still work on his fluidity. OMG yikess @ more Craig and Shirley arguing. They are too much, lmao. haha I do love how much Jamie loves the Rumba when most people hate or are terrified of it. I do think the 6 and 7s for a 27 are right/fair here. This was an improvement from last week. Toyah & Neil - Jive: Oooh I am so terrified for Toyah's Jive as I am expecting this to be really bad. But this dance having a storyline and being character led.... is a good fit for Toyah. Lol Neil trying on all of those costumes. He sure was having lots of fun here. lol I saw lots of comments of her looking like Dolly Parton here. I totally see that here. This Jive.... was sure something else. OMGG her dancing on the bar table was wowzers. LMAO this dance was absolutely wild and an experience, omgg. Okay but I honestly do think Toyah was better. She was out there....doing her own thing in her own world. Her Jive dancing was messy and not good at all - and it was limited in Jive content, which wasn't too good. But she was having a blast and so in character and performed the dance! She is a great performer in her own world. It was messy and choatic but oh so fun to watch. Oh and I keept forgetting the Jive is Neil's favorite style. Yeah she definitely deserved an up and improvement in scores. I can't fault Craig's 3 and the 5s from the other judges. I'd probably push it down a score or maybe two? I'd probably go with a 16/17? Nick & Luba - American Smooth: It's insane how Nick injured himself with changing a tire from his car. Gah wow, poor guy for that. But I am glad his injury wasn't serious enough to stop him from competing in the dance. Work it Luba on changing the choreo a lot to make this suitable and workable for Nick, while still keeping true to the American Smooth. This was a weird song choice for the American Smooth but thankfully not as bad as Paul's last week. This dance.... it wasn't bad. I get that it was a little ploddy and not all the way there with his footwork. Nick did dance the content decently. He handled all of the lifts well and the lifts/transitions were on the smooth side. He danced the AS fine with fine partnering work. I also really enjoyed all of the humor and characterization that they did and showcased here. It was nice to see Nick have fun here. And for 16 hours of training, it wasn't bad. Luba was over-working/working hard to make this dance shine with how she threw herself into those lifts. But this was a nice improvement from Nick. I love how much props and credit that he gave Luba here. I think the mostly 5s and 6 were for a 21 was fair. Montell & Johannes - Samba: It was nice seeing Montell back at her home track place. I'm so excited to see Montell & Johannes do the Samba as it's the style that Montell is most excited to learning and it's Johannes favorite style! Lol they are sooo fun and hilarious in their rehearsals. It's cool that they can include Montell's signature Gladiator move here too. And yay she got to include that at the start of the dance. For a Week 2 Samba, I thought Montell did a pretty great job with this. She was fierce and fiery in this dance. She had good technique, footwork, rhythm and bounce action throughout the dance. I do think she had moments where she really brought the fire and pizazz though moments I wanted a little more. I can get that she needed more sharp/precise footwork and that's something she can certainly work on going forward. But yeah this was fierce and so good! Wow Craig was so over the moon about this but yayy!! Yayy for a mix of 7s and 8s - shook at Craig's 8 but I can't fault/agree with the scores. Tasha & Aljaž - Viennese Waltz: Oooh yayy it's the return of Aljaž's ballroom, which would certainly be a treat. Especially with a great dancer in Tasha. They already looked mostly good and strong in their rehearsals. Oooh aww wow at them bringing her boyfriend Andrew already. Aww I wish I watched their season of Love Island as they seem like a really cute couple. Aww at Andrew doing some of the Waltz with her. That was cute, lol. Wow this dance! I had high expectations for this, especially with all of the comments I saw for this. This dance was absolutely STUNNING. This was breathtaking, divine, gorgeous and just out of this world brillant. This dance was so smooth, elegant and effortless. Tasha had a great frame, good head position, great footwork and she nailed such a stunning and beautifully choreographed Viennese Waltz. I knew she would excel with this but even then, this was still better than expected. This felt like two professional dancers dancing a lovely ballroom routine. Definitely the dance of the night! Also Tasha looked sooo beautiful with her look and her dress! I'm glad that the judges brought out the 9s this early as it was deserving. I do agree with the 8 and three 9s here. Yay this dance having the highest score for a Week 2 Viennese Waltz as well! Shayne & Nancy - Tango: Ooh dear Shayne address the negative comments of people sayig he comes off as over confident when he was actually nervous and using a smile to come off as confident. But aww at his wife and kids looking at his rehearsals. That was really sweet and cute. I'm really looking forward to Shayne's Tango and hopeful for an improvement from him here. Woww at that flip over move Nancy did to get onto the ballroom floor. Okay this Tango was reallly good! This was intense, powerful, passionate and hot. Shayne and Nancy had a lot of crazy good chemistry and I felt so much passion from them throughout this dance. Shayne did a great job leading this dance with Nancy. He had a great frame, sharp quick footwork, which was full of staccato movements. I did really love the storyline and how he performed this. He really used his acting chops really well here. There were maybe some parts that did seem a little too sharp where it looked like it got a little wild. But it was great and such a major improvement from last week. The 7 and mostly 8s were fair here. Pete & Jowita - American Smooth: Aww Pete bringing and introducing his dogs to Jowita. His dogs are adorable, haha. Okay "I Had Some Help" is yet another weird song for an American Smooth. I just don't get this, lmaoo. OK despite the odd song choice, I thought that they made this work? Also they really drove up their showmance angle with the direction they went with this dance. This dance did have a charming/romantic quality to it. Pete.... hmm he was interesting. He was so serious and intense in the in hold parts. He still looks like he was concentrating on those parts. The frame and footwork was decent though. But he did perform much better on the out of hold arts and he had some great chemistry with Jowita. I get Craig's comments on this dance feeling a little clunky and pedestrian at times. The lifts were great, especially that big lift where Jowita really threw herself to him and he caught her there! This was a definite improvement from Pete but he's still got some work to improve upon. I think the 22 is fair. I would go with a mix of 5s and 6s - so Craig's 4 and the three 6s, I can't be mad at. Sarah & Vito - Paso Doble: Aww Sarah's group chat she has with her friends that she watches/comments on Strictly with was really cute and fun to see. That video reminds me of those fans videos they show on the semi final. Oooh after Vito's amazing Paso with Ellie last year and Sarah's great potential, I'm excited for her Paso here! It's nice seeing this powerful and intense character from her! Oooh okay, I do love the subtle and quieter beginning as it really sets the mood of the dance, where you know it's going to be GOOD! And yep, it certainly was. I love how it got intense real fast. It was a fast paced, powerful and intense Paso. Sarah handled the loads of dance content with ease so well. I loved all of the partnering work, all of the shaping and the kicks and just... everything she did. I love how the dance built and built up as it progressed and just kept going another level. I did think there were a few little balance issues with maybe because she was too intense at times? But still another strong dance from Sarah! Rankings: 1. Tasha & Aljaž - Viennese Waltz 2. Shayne & Nancy - Tango 3. Sarah & Vito - Paso Doble 4. Montell & Johannes - Samba 5. Wynne & Katya - Viennese Waltz 6. JB & Amy - Cha-Cha 7. Chris & Dianne - Foxtrot 8. Jamie & Michelle - Rumba 9. Sam & Nikita - Charleston 10. Pete & Jowita - American Smooth 11. Nick & Luba - American Smooth 12. Tom & Nadiya - Cha-Cha 13. Dr. Punam & Gorka - Foxtrot 14. Toyah & Neil - Jive 15. Paul & Karen - Salsa This was another fun and enjoyable show! I do feel mostly confident on these rankings. I'd say that my #2-#4, #7-8, #11-13 are probably the ones that are interchangeable and could change on rewatch. Definitely nervous for the results tomorrow.

*Wallace
Just watched the results show! Week 2 Results show thoughts: - Oh it was odd how they opened the results show with Tess & Claudia talking. Had me thinking there was no group routine. Thankfully not the case, as the professional dancers and judges danced the opening group routine. Ooh and wow this was to a very unique take on "When Doves Cry." This had like a classic Shakesperaian feel to it? Anton & Shirley did some beautiful waltzing. Motsi did some beautiful dancing too. Omg Craig was living and hamming it up with his parts. And Craig and that blond wig. Ooh I was LOVING nad living for the fast Tango dancing that everyone did in the latter half of the dance! This was a really exciting and entertaining group routine! - Oh wow Pete & Jowita being the first couple through is quite a shock. I didn't expect them to be completely in danger but thought they would have been saved towards the end. - Ooh dangg Paul & Karen saved in the first segment? Welp, I thought for sure they would have likely been in danger though I could have seen them being safe too. - Oh wow, Tom & Nadiya being the first couple in danger was a real surprise and shock. I know the Cha-Cha wasn't a good fit for him but I thought he had a bigger fan vote on his side. - Chris remains hilarious backstage. And lol I love Sarah imitadating Vito. - For the second half of the results, I wasn't surprised that it was down to Toyah & Neil vs. Dr. Punam & Gorka. I'm glad Punam/Gorka made it through as I thought for sure they would have been in the bottom. I'm fine with Toyah & Neil being in the Bottom 2. I feel sad for them but that's how it goes. - Beautiful guest performance Ezra Collective & Yazmin Lacey with Carlos & Lauren dancing in this. They had some really cool and funky dancing here. This performance kinda had a smooth Afrobeats feel/vibe to it. - Ahh first dance off of the series! Tom & Nadiya vs. Toyah & Neil! Tom's Cha-Cha was more or less the same. He tried his best with it. It was still a little on the stiff side and he didn't completely let loose, but it wasn't terrible. Effort was there. I also noticed that there wasn't the little mistake here like on the actual performance show, which is good. Toyah's Jive was also more or less the same as well. Lol there was such a crazy wildness and choatic energy about it. I'll say Toyah brought more performance and energy to her dance. The technique and dancing still wasn't very good though. - The results are interesting. Craig had negatives for both (though sounded like he had more negatives for Toyah) but he saved Toyah.Motsi also saved Toyah. There were comments on both couples were out of timing/the beat of the music. Motsi thought Tom was out of time more than Toyah. Anton saved Tom, due to having better technique. Shirley based her decision on timing/musicality, so she also saved Toyah. I do think Tom had the better technique and Toyah had the better performance skills, but I did think Tom was slightly better. Hmmm very interesting result. I don't really agree with it. And I feel so sad and bad for Tom & Nadiya going out this soon and as the first couple out? This is a real shocker...and something I never ever would have predicted. Tom did seem like he could have had some potential, particularly in ballroom. Ugh I also feel SO bad for Nadiya. I love Nadiya and just want her to have a great/long series as she hardly gets to make it far, ugh. I wish they lasted a few more weeks. Aww at Tom's "sorry" to Nadiya... that broke my heart. Movie Night spoilers: - Montell & Johannes will portray Dreamgirls (though the song choice wasn't stated). - Dr. Punam & Gorka have the Couple's Choice. Gorka says that it's a style that's never been done before. Oooh I'm hopeful that it can be some traditional Indian dancing or Bhangra, as Punam mentioned wanting to dance that on the show... and this is the prime chance to make that happen. Fingers crossed. - lmao Nancy tried giving a clue for her & Shayne's dance. Shayne made like an Elvis impression so I'm thinking his dance will be Elvis inspired. - Sam & Nikita will have a Lara Croft Tomb Raider inspired dance. - Wynne will perform as Mrs. Doubtfire for his dance... and to a Cha-Cha, I think? - Jamie & Michelle will dance a Quickstep to "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John. - Tasha & Aljaz will have a Barbie inspired dance. LMAO Aljaz says it hasn't been decided who will be Barbie but I think we know who should have that role.
*Wallace
Week 3 Movie Night dances are revealed! https://www.instagram.com/p/DAlSjnutFms/?hl=en Montell & Johannes Tango to One Night Only from Dreamgirls Punam & Gorka Couple’s Choice to Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham Sam & Nikita Paso Doble to Elevation from Tomb Raider Sarah & Vito Viennese Waltz to Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter Tasha & Aljaž Rumba to What Was I Made For? from Barbie Toyah & Neil Samba to Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid Jamie & Michelle Quickstep to I’m Still Standing from Rocketman JB & Amy American Smooth to Pure Imagination from Wonka Nick & Luba Charleston to Rain on the Roof from Paddington 2 Paul & Karen Cha Cha to The Magnificent Seven Theme Pete & Jowita Samba to the George Of The Jungle Theme Shayne & Nancy Viennese Waltz to If I Can Dream from Elvis Wynne & Katya Cha Cha to Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag from Mrs Doubtfire Chris & Dianne Jive to the Wayne’s World Theme Thoughts: - From ITT, It looks like they're gonna do a Tango to the Jennifer Hudson version of ONN, which I think makes sense. It can be emotional/intense... though now I feel that could suit a slower ballroom dance. But I hope it's different from the Danny/Oti version. Looking forward to the serious side of Montell. - Oooh yayy it looks like Punam will get to do a traditional Indian style dance for her Couple's Choice. Can't think of her song off the top of my head. I'm curious which style it will actually be whether it's Bollywood, Bhangra or a different style. - Looking forward to seeing a different side/serious side of Sam. On paper this looks like a strong pick, but I just hope she can deliver with it. - Sarah/Vito's VW should be beautiful. I can see this being another great Hedwig’s Theme Waltz that we've had so many from DWTS/SCD. - Oooh wow looks like we are gonna get another brilliant "What Was I Made For?" Rumba on this show. Tasha should no doubt ace this dance and it should be really stunning. SO looking forward to this. - LOL Toyah getting a Samba to Poor Unfortunate Souls. This sure won't hold a match to Rumer's obviously lmao. But it should be fun, camp and hopefully an entertaining wild hot mess dance. Give us messy entertainment, Toyah. - Hugee expectations with Jamie getting the Quickstep as he had a great one on the Christmas special. Hopefully this can be his breakthrough dance. Looking forward to this! - JB's song/theme doesn't super excite me per se but that's a really stunning dance/song combo. If his Waltz was any indication, this should be a really smooth and gorgeous dance. - Not too familiar nor too interested in Paul's or Nick's dances. Nick's should be better but still not familiar with either song. - George Of The Jungle theme for a Samba is reallly interesting and not something I could have imagined. Hmm, I can't see Pete nailing or doing that well with this. He could be in danger. - lmao I was totally expecting a predictable Jive when I heard Shayne had an Elvis theme dance, so yay for this nice surprise. He had a great ballroom last week so I am hopeful he'll have another one here. Love this song/style combo. - Wynne has a really fun theme with the Mrs Doubtfire theme. Can't say I remember the song off the top of my head but this looks fun. - Chris has a really fun song choice. No doubt this will be a big crowd pleaser for the audience and voting public. Overall the dances I'm most looking forward to are: Montell, Punam, Sam, Sarah, Tasha, Jamie, JB, Shayne, Wynee and Chris.
