Cycle 1 - The First Nominations

And away we go. As always, no complicated twists to start the game off. When it's your turn, you will nominate 16 reality stars. The other rankers will each cut and save a nominee. You have 24 hours to make your nominations and cut & save. If you fail to make your nominations in time without asking for an extension, the randomizer will take over for you. If you fail to make you cut & save in time without asking for an extension, any ranker or member of the public can take over for you. You can hold on to you cut & save decision for 30 minutes before it's up for grabs again. You only get one refresh per round. Immune reality stars and reality stars nominated in the previous round are not eligible to be nominated each round.

Oh how I wished this could be my first cut of the rankdown.  now I get to make sure he gets last place?  Cameron was a contestant on Big Brother 25 and he was AWFUL.  He consistently he had terrible reads on the house and was always in a position to go home.  Power couples used him and abused him early in the game when he was able to win competitions. He did make "big movez" when he won his heads of households.  His first one was the start of crippling Cirie's game when he sent Izzy out of the game.  He then got evicted, followed by his enemy Jared.  He returned to the game as a zombie, and won head of household.  His second one was less impactful as he took out Mecole who didn't do anything all season besides tantrums in the storage room.  Anyway was eliminated again the next round. Cameron was evicted under Jag's head of household and then voted for him to win a couple weeks later, as he was the first juror.  Cameron's personality is grating and he aligned with guys, everything Idolforums hates.  He's out now, but is still represented in the game for Reindeer games. He also won America's Favorite Player.  So ew.

Ah the first cut of the game is both exciting/nerve wrecking! I enjoyed Stars on Mars and thought it was a cute, fun and funny show. I wasn't really sure what to do with my first cut but I think Richard Sherman makes for a fine first cut from me. Richard Sherman is an American former football cornerback, who played in the NFL for 11 years and he's most known for playing for the Seattle Seahawks. He and Marshawn Lynch are both former Seahawks, so they obviously connected and were friends right away on the show. I can't really remember much about Richard as he only lasted 3 weeks on the show, which again proves he's a fine cut here. And of the two football players, Marshawn was HILARIOUS and a lot of fun so he should definitely outlast Richard. Also even in his short 3 episode stay on the show, I think Richard was one of the celebs that had this ~over it~ attitude and wanting to go from the show.... which is never fun to watch as a viewer. Okay, I'm seeing that Tinashe was the base commander that episode and that Richard was chosen to be extracted. Richard's final plea was that he felt isolated and stated that the other two least Mission Critical celebrities (Marshawn Lynch & Natasha Leggero) were better suited to continue on with the show. Richard pretty much gave up at this point, which led to Tinashe and Ariel Winter (the Mission Specialist) to eliminate Richard. I do remember Richard and Marshawn having a sad goodbye, which was sad to see.   Richard was alright but not a favorite of mine on the show. Here is a fun clip of him on the show:

TOM SANDOVAL

Tom Sandoval is a reality tv personality, I just know him as Ariana Madix's ex-husband though. He became a topic of dicussion last year with the whole Scandoval, with him cheating on Ariana. Wild. Anyways, he was on Season 10 of The Masked Singer. I don't really know how he became a star though. He was the "Diver" on The Masked Singer and he was eliminated second. During his time on the show, he sang "Any Way You Want It" by Journey and then got eliminated singing "I Ain't Worried" by OneRepublic. He was not the best singer hence the early boot. Anyways, he cheated on Ariana so he can go. But, I will say he is one attractive man BUT STILL, TRASH!

Lol poor Cameron being the first boot.  But I'm not complaining, especially as he would have been my first BBUS25 choice to go.  

 

Tom Sandoval "Diver" was a decent enough singer. He probably could have done better in a less stacked group but I was fine when he left. He did better on Special Forces, so I'm fine with that entry of his outlasting his The Masked Singer entry.

Player 393 | “Jackie” - Squid Game: The Challenge

Jackie was one of the 456 players who competed on the hit show Squid Game: The Challenge. Jackie was the shows first deaf contestant or at least the only one who received any airtime during the show. Jackie seemed like a nice girl and her narrative seemed quite fitting amongst some of the ego-maniacs but she wasn’t one of the most memorable ones for me due to the fact there were so many people to try and keep an eye on. It was pretty obvious who was going far with the edit and unfortunately she didn’t seem to get a lead actress edit. I seem to remember one older guy not believing her about being deaf which was her storyline whilst competing which is a shame considering she went in to break barriers but I suppose that’s the way reality television works. Jackie was eliminated during the Glass Bridge challenge which had no strategy to it and was purely pot luck but that’s what makes the show so great.

I've never watched any of the Chrisley shows but I heard a lot about them. I know her dad and his... wife?! 

 

Anyway I digress, him and his wife got into some legal trouble and they're behind bars now. And then I guess Savannah's been on a bit of a 'redemption/stepping outside of my family's shadow arc' since then? On this show, Savannah lasted three episodes. Credit to her because if I was in her shoes I'd need one person to yell at me and I'd quit after 5 minutes  It seems like Savannah struggled more with the mental aspect of the show than the physical. She outlasted a former NFL player, Blac Chyna and Tara Reid.

 

She'll be back for the 2024 rankdown because of the Masked Singer but I can't imagine she'll have much more luck on there. I watched her performance and, again kudos to her for stepping outside of her comfort zone, but it might be the worst vocal performance I've ever heard on that show next to Honey Boo Boo and Rudy Guiliani.
