Technically speaking, that was one of the weakest performances of the night.

 

But I loved it. As someone who grew up on bands like Simple Plan, Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, and blink-182, Kayko rarely fails to invoke feelings of nostalgia in me.

Getting caught up with a late start.

 

Abi - I actually thought she did well, not as good as last night, it was good though. I enjoyed it and she sounded lovely as always.

 

Will - This is one of my fave Stapleton songs. This is prob one of my faves he's done. I just wish he would go a little out of the box, just once. See something a little different from him. It was kind of boring to be honest and I find him boring. He's good though, don't get me wrong. He can sing, just isn't very emotional and doesn't pull me in like Stapleton or Combs. I need to "feel" it when he sings, if he's going to just strum and sing like the does, needs more emotion and to pull on our hearts more. Music for me, you either have to entertain me, or make me "feel". He isn't doing it for me in either of those categories.

 

Jayna  - Was boring and flat for me, wasn't a fan of her version of this one. Sorry She hit some notes nicely - some were sus, sounded nice at times just slow, boring, not entertaining. I'm kind of sad, she was so good last night.

 

Mia - Was good. Not her best imo. I just need Mia to break outta her shell and cut loose and see some fire, passion, emotion, kind of the same as with Will. Mia is so, so, good and I enjoyed it and she looked beautiful. I think her nerves and shyness are playing tricks with her and her confidence. Girl's got it, just gotta keep growing and let go of that fear.

 

Roman - No, no, no. I did not like that at all. I was not a fan of the arrangement, the vocals, any of it. Sorry That might have been the worst performance on the entire season for me thus far...

 

Jack - I liked this a lot. I thought it was one of his better performances. I liked his take on this song. The band was really drowning him out on this one though and I found it hard to hear him over the music. Jack's growing on me, I'm digging him lately, and prob the one most improved since audition for me.

 

Emmy - My fave of the night. She looked so beautiful tonight and I agree with Katy, this was prob her best vocal performance so far. She slayed the song. She is so, so talented and if she will just keep finding that confidence and break through that barrier, she's going to soar. I loved this and has been my fave so far of the night. Excellent performance by her. I would love to see her walk and move a bit while singing and go to the audience and sing to them some.

 

Triston - He's got a good voice and can def sing. This was a weak performance. I just still see a lot of the 15 year old in him when he is singing, not sure he's quite ready for mainstream, but either way he is loved and popular so I'm sure he will be fine. Vocally this one wasn't his best imo. Seemed to struggle quiet a bit with some of those notes.

 

Julia - Oh no, not this. This is one of my fave songs, I hope she slays this or it won't be good at all for me. Seemed like she got a little ahead of the song at the beginning. Sounded pretty good though throughout. I enjoyed it.

 

KB - I did not like the beginning...not a fan of the arrangement or something I don't know. Her vocals and her voice...are they okay? That wasn't very good at all for me. Yikes. I love KB too. She is one of my top 4. Part of it sounded okay, maybe it was too big for her, or her voice is just shot for the moment IDK.

 

Mckenna - One of my fave T Swift songs. This is a good choice for her. Starting of the song is beautiful. She looks beautiful. Thank gosh one of the girls, is moving and walking while singing I love it. She is comfortable. Her voice is still so strained and sick though but even tho, she actually is killing this. I love it. Second fave performance of the night. Amazing! One of my faves she has performed.

 

Kayko - A for effort. He is entertaining, just vocally he doesn't do it for me. Beginning was good, he lost me about mid way though. Give him props tho for entertaining, his confidence, and his energy.
