Big Brother Canada 12

Ah finally got around to seeing the latest episode. Some thoughts:

LOL it was so fun seeing Alejandra & Olivia returning to the BBCAN house. :haha: I loved their segment and seeing them!

Oooof that was a heated argument between Victoria and Anthony this episode. Gahh yeah no matter how Victoria votes, her cards will be shown and she'll have to disappoint a few people no matter what. But it's still clear to me that she's gonna vote out Matt to upset Anthony & Lexus. Lexus did make a good final pitch to the girls but I don't think that's going to be enough.

This should be the first juicy and exciting vote of the season! I wonder if Victoria will be the last one to vote. *continues watching* Ahh yeah, I knew it would be a 3-3 vote and then Victoria with the last vote to send Matthew home. OMG Arissa taking it to a commercial break after everyone voted. What a way to drag this out even longer. :dead:

Matthew seemed like a nice enough guy and I didn't mind him for the most part. I do feel like he coasted by  safely through most of the season with the directors alliance. I liked that he had some fire in him after he got nominated and played a little harder, but it still wasn't enough. I like how he handled the eviction and had a positive attitude about it and with the cast. We'll see what happens with him and Lexus and wishing the best for them. Though another week of Anthony not getting his way and losing another shield for him is kinda lolzy.  :giggle:

Spicy better not flip when she set all this up

OMGG wow was she reallly considering not flipping? I thought she was set voting Matthew all along but the editing made it seem like she was flip floppy. Though Victoria is always flip floppy so who knows. :haha:

So was Matt the last pre-juror or what?

I thought that he was. But then it wasn't said so I'm wondering.

1. Spicy - Look it's been a rollercoaster, but she's won me over again. Kinda reminds me of pre-jury BBCAN5 Ika where she kept teasing me with big moves saving my faves, but not doing it. But just like Ika turning on Neda, Spicy turning on Dougie is the turning point for her. She'll probably piss me off again, it's what she does, but for now I'm in for the ride.

2. Bayleigh - Very easily the shining star of the newbies. Very easily. Wildly entertaining, I can't believe she's suddenly in a kind of good position? I feel like we were so close to losing her for so long, I'm so happy. Don't see her winning, but if we can just get a full season of Bayleigh I'll be content.

3. Kayla - Just good vibes. She's not a star as a player, character, etc. but she's like a solid B+ everywhere. Easy to root for.

4. Lexus - Couldn't give a single shit about the showmance, but now that she's on her own, I'm hoping for big things. Even if it's not with the girls, I wouldn't blame her if she turned against them.

5. Todd - I feel like he's gone full "Go gurl give us nothing" but in a fun way. He's just a loyal mute guy whose getting revenge for Dinis and protecting Bayleigh, so what more could you want out of a straight white guy on this show?

6. Avery - She annoys the everloving shit out of me sometimes. But sometimes it does make for good tv. For power shift purposes if a girl did have to take a hit, I'd want it to be Avery.

7. Dougie - I stand by the fact that he's a lot better tv this time around than S7. I also think he's under A LOT of pressure this time around, having lost his friend right before the show. I think there's more to him that what we get on the surface that I'm intrigued by. But I'm still not a fan lol ^_^

8. Tola - He woke up a bit after he got nominated, but he simply revealed that I don't actually like him?

9. Goose - He's had like 2-3 funny moments, but overall still worthless.

chain of safety sounds right.

I mean would they just do that again after already doing the rejection chain? I feel like it has to be something different than a chain lol

This night couldn't be going worse for Victoria's side.  Only way it can end in their favor is if Kayla or Avery wins the Veto.  And even then, Todd would still have to vote with them, and it doesn't sound like he wants to.

YES!  Kayla!  Win that Veto, girl!

I'm scared that this seals Avery's fate, though.  She was supposed to just be a pawn, but now . . . she could go home.

Kayla will undoubtedly save herself on Tuesday.  If Victoria's smart, then Tola goes up.

Bayleigh and Kayla will vote Tola out, while Anthony and Lexus will vote Avery out.  Elijah has no vote.

Todd is the swing vote here, and based on a scene that he had earlier in the episode, then no question he breaks the tie and votes out Avery.

At least he and Tola didn't get their way with Kayla.

I thought someone was leaving tonight.

This is lame!

Kayla spicy and bayleigh all safe though. Just gotta get Kayla through.

This isn't the round to flip Todd. Zont zoo it.

i meant Avery, you obviously know I meant that (as I was posting in here when it happened), so there was zero reason to post this.

Great episode, interesting twist. Tbh the twist didn't feel like Big Brother, just some other random show. But it's a show I'd watch? Though I mean this whole show isn't Big Brother without livefeeds so why start splitting hairs now.

Not sure about Bayleigh's move to give Spicy HOH at first. Felt like she should've nominated someone. But it's turning out pretty good for her with Kayla winning veto. My gut tells me we're gonna end up with a random Goose eviction. I feel like Dougie & Lexus don't want to backstab Avery, but they would if Tola goes on the block. But I could see Spicy & Dougie calling a truce and just taking out Goose. Maybe Todd could even become the compromise. Spicy already protected him once, but seeing how quickly he turned on the girls she might be fine serving him up for slaughter.

But ultimately Spicy, Bayleigh, and Kayla being safe is all I wanted so I don't really care who goes. Avery going home would be a big power shift so while it would suck for my faves' games, it would be fun to see!

Oooh dear, this Movie Night Massacre theme is reallly scary.

- Dangg, not Kayla being the first one to drop. I was kinda hoping for her to win this as I'm worried about her with Tola & Todd planning to target her.
- OMGG Victoria in this challenge after she was eliminated was hilarious. :dead: Ugh bummed she came in 6th.
- Ugh this Top 4 as a whole is scary. I'm not sure how I feel about Lexus going.
- Interesting that the Top 3 were Todd, Tola and Bayleigh. Todd out 3rd. Def rooting for Bayleigh.
- Oh thank goodness Tola's glass dropped and broke.
- Yayyy Bayleigh winning the safety! :spaz: Hopefully I won't have to worry too much about what happens.
- LOL I have no idea what's going on with this casting roles twist here. :dead: Oh wow, there is so much going on here - it's all so insane lmao.
- Ahh dang with Tola & Todd having 2nd and 3rd in command roles, they are so gonna screw over Kayla with whatever happens... dang. :(
- Dangg this all looks like it's going according to plan for Tola/Todd with them setting Kayla & Avery as nominees.
 - OMG Victoria! :dead: Her excitement when she saw that she was HoH and then her asking right away if she could change Avery from nominations. :lmao: Lol Victoria was not secretive at all with her reaction to everything.
- lmaoo at all of Elijah's reactions to the board too. :lmao:
- Dang I feel so bad for Kayla as she has no idea what's going on.... with her being set up for failure. :broken: Dangg Kayla's crying at the anticipation of the board even before seeing she was up for eviction. :(
- Really hoping Kayla can win this Veto or else, this is it for her. :broken:
- OMGGG YESSS Kayla won the Veto!!! :spaz: :spaz: :spaz: Phew, thank goodness. That was the only result I wanted especially with the stacks against her! :ohyeah: What a beautiful ending to this episode!
- omggg at the MESS this is all causing with that preview. Can't wait to see what all happens, hahaha. Victoria needs to put Tola up... and they gotta make sure he goes, hopefully.

Thank the lord that Kayla won.

Wish they would have had everything in one episode though!

Ugh yeah I thought everything was going to happen in one episode too. But then when I saw the Veto comp was happening with 3 minutes left, I feared that it would end in a cliffhanger. Thank goodness that wasn't the case and we saw Kayla win it.

Ah wow while watching the episode, I didn't really think of the possibility of Avery going. I just thought of it as she would have the votes to be safe and whoever was put up in Kayla's spot would go. But yeah, it's not that easy.

After reading some posts in here, I wouldn't be surprised with Elijah going. He seems like the easy choice for both/all sides to let go and that way Anthony and Victoria won't lose someone super important to them. But then yeah, Todd wanting to change things up and it backfiring on him could work against him. While I would still prefer Tola to be up and go, I don't think Anthony will let that happen after losing Matthew last week.

But oh my... if Avery goes out in this twist, it would be kinda like the Vivek situation all over again. In the sense she targets someone not coming for her in particular and goes out on a twist - though this is not nearly as bad (since at least Avery has closer allies with the girls+Anthony than she did with Matthew).
