totes4totes Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 I’ll clean up and add a pic once I get to work. I’m at PT now and I had to save Carol!!!
FrogLenzen Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 shout-out to Carole for having the worst female score average of all time! Still beats the bottom 5 men at least
Solaris Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Bonner Bolton I remember really disliking Bonner on Dancing with the Stars. This could have been for a number of reasons, the top of which is his partner Sharna Burgess, who I have no love for. I remember my negative feelings going beyond that because I think he was inappropriate with her on a couple occasions. Bonner made it all the way to the Top 5 on season 24. This season had stacked female talent... and yet Bonner is the one who almost makes it to the end. Him and David Ross. Anyway his worst scoring dance was week 1 which received a 22 from the 4 judges. His highest scoring dance that wasn't his team dance was his week 4 foxtrot, where he scored a 32. I don't think anyone will miss him here. Save: Wayne 1

I think she made it pretty far in the show and every moment she was still in was torture. At least some bigots can dance but she got by just because of white evangelical values. Her brother Kirk Cameron sucks. She left hallmark because they started making gay movies. Full House is the worst of the 80s/90s sitcoms and watching it is like worse than watching The Big Bang Theory. Candace is a mediocre actress, a mediocre dancer, and a even less than mediocre human being. Saving Carol Baskins! This is only 92 words and this cut/save is not valid until it's 100 words

jarmon Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 TAVIS SMILEY Lol, we're cutting back-to-back Sharna partners it seems. Tavis Smiley is an American talk show host and author who I have never heard of before his time on Dancing with the Stars. Oh, of course there are some sexual misconduct allegations against him, checks out with the men that DWTS loves to cast. Anyway, he was on season 19 of DWTS where he was partnered with Sharna Burgess and they were the second couple eliminated placing 12th. He was an average dancer and scored 29 for his Foxtrot and a 28 for his Cha-cha-cha to which he was eliminated. Season 19 had a pretty solid cast looking back as the celebs weren't like extremely terrible dancers, most showed potential but anyways, Tavis is a horrid human so he can leave the rankdown now. Cool. SAVE: Sadie Robertson.
totes4totes Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 2 hours ago, totes4totes said: Candace Cameron Bure Candace Cameron Bure was a contestant on Season 18 of DWTS. She was paired with Mark Ballas and I believe she placed 3rd. It's hard to remember anything in that season other than the PERFECTION of the Meryl/Maks partnership so I can't say that I particularly remember any dance she was in off the top of my head. But I do know that she had an air of mediocrity surrounding her. She is one of those contestants that she show has that is never good but never quite bad enough to be tanked by the scores and thus her appeal to the show's "Middle America" (read: White, Straight, and Christian) fanbase keeps afloat all the way to the finale. Candace Cameron Bure's career started with Full House and that's where it should have ended. She was fine in a show that defines family sitcom mediocrity. After that I'm sure she did acting work but I don't think she really reappeared in kind of "mainstream" conscious until she was the Hallmark darling. In a time where people like me want to like exclusively watch terrible formulaic Christmas movies. Of course Candace Cameron Bure's mediocrity continues there. None of her movies are "surprisingly" good enough to actually watch nor wackily bad enough to watch with a weird curiosity. Of course this all is happening at the same time Netflix was like "Oh people are watching Full House, maybe we should make a sequel?" and thus the terribly mediocre Fuller House was born. Of course if Candance Cameron Bure was just known for being a mediocre middling actor from a supposedly "beloved" 90s sitcom and then Hallmark movies she wouldn't be nominated nor eliminated this early. But we know that Candace Cameron Bure is afflicted with the disease of being a hateful right-wing bigot. Maybe she's not as outwardly awful as her extremely vile brother Kirk Cameron but she doesn't disavow him. She left Hallmark once they started making gay movies and started with what is now known as "Great American Family." They are behind the streaming site "Pureflix" if you need to know anything more about them. I hate people like Candace Cameron Bure. Who perform Christianity. Who pretend to be relatable so they can sell you Christianity as a product. (Go to her website and purchase digital devotions to use with the free Bible app! Be sure to buy the resources on Christianity she pushes! Make sure you buy her line of jewelry and clothing in the store so people can know you are Christian because Capitalism = Christianity). She's a bad person and a mediocre dancer. Saving Carole Baskin! updated the write-up with a picture!
*Lily Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 Paula Deen I'm not gonna spend all this write-up talking about Paula's long-documented controversies because it's well-known. The whole Paula Deen scandal feels like ages ago now, but there was only 2 years between her racist controversy being widely exposed and her appearing on Dancing with the Stars. I think it was pretty much her first post-controversy gig, which obviously tracks knowing how this show likes to book people pretty much when they're at the height of their infamy. Paula partnered with returning pro Louis van Amstel, and lasted six weeks on Season 21. She was not a good dancer. Not the absolute worst, but the bar this season was low. After being by far the lowest scoring celebrity over two weeks in her last week, she was rightfully eliminated. Save Wendy Williams
Alex95 Posted January 5, 2024 Author Posted January 5, 2024 Johnny Damon Kate Gosselin Lamar Odom Martin Kove
*Diana Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Lamar Odom Lamar was paired with Peta during season 28 of the show. He is best known for being the ex husband of Khloé Kardashian. He only lasted four weeks which is fairly good for a contestant like him that usually stays far too long for being "likeable" when he is 100 percent not a likable person. So personally I was glad he did not last too long, even if it was up to me he wouldn't of been cast in the first place. His best scoring dance was his Viennese Waltz the week he was eliminated and still only got him 4 and 5s so that tells you all you need to know about his "dancing". Saving: Kate Gosselin (sorry not saving any of the other 3)
*Chris Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 JOHNNY DAMON SEASON + PLACEMENT: SEASON 26 || 8TH PLACE BEST DANCE: FOXTROT || 18 out of 30 WORST DANCE: N/A FAVOURITE DANCE: N/A Everything I know about Johnny Damon revolves around his time on the Athlete edition of DWTS and his appearances on Below Deck Mediterranean. I'm aware that he is a well-known athlete, particularly in baseball, where some consider him a legend; Perhaps those familiar with MLB can confirm that. On Dancing With The Stars: Athlete in 2018, he was partnered with Emma Slater, and they were one of the first couples eliminated after performing the Foxtrot, which scored 18 out of 30. Curious about Johnny Damon's career, I checked his Wikipedia, discovering he once appeared on Donald Trump's The Apprentice. He is one of the many contestants from The Apprentice who openly endorsed Trump and his policies. Compare to some of those contestants, he did play an active role during Trump's campaign by appearing at a Trump rally in 2016. He also served on the Sports, Fitness, & Nutrition council during Trump's presidency ; Misty May-Treanor was also appointed co-chair of this council by Trump. In 2021, he faced legal issues, being arrested for driving while intoxicated and resisting an officer without violence. According to bodycam footage, he claims his arrest was due to being targeted for his support of Trump. As of 2024, he continues to proudly support Trump. SAVING: MARTIN KOVE
Alex95 Posted January 6, 2024 Author Posted January 6, 2024 @*Diana is up next to nominate 12 dancers.
*Diana Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 1. Adam Carolla 2. Jake Pavelka 3. Jerry Springer 4. Jeffrey Ross 5. Jimmie Allen 6. Kim Kardashian 7. Kelly Osbourne 8. Ian Ziering 9. Marie Osmond 10. Ray Lewis 11. Steve-O 12. Teresa Giudice
*Chris Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 RAY LEWIS SEASON + PLACEMENT: SEASON 28 || 11TH PLACE BEST DANCE: FOXTROT / SALSA || 15 out of 30 WORST DANCE: FOXTROT / SALSA || 15 out of 30 FAVOURITE DANCE: N/A When you search for "DWTS controversial casting choices," it's surprising that Ray Lewis' name isn't included on such lists. Instead, sites like MissMojo mention names like Heather Morris, Olivia Jade, Carole Baskin, and Ryan Lochte. However, none of these names seem as controversial as Ray Lewis, who has been involved in a murder trial. To learn more about the trial, you can visit Ray Lewis' Wikipedia page. Controversy has surrounded him, long before his appearance on Dancing With The Stars : A year after the murder, he was awarded the title of Super Bowl XXXV MVP. When asked about addressing the victims' families who find it difficult to see him idolized while believing he knows more about the killings than he shared, he responded, "God has never made a mistake. That's just who He is, you see.... To the family, if you knew, if you really knew the way God works, He don't use people who commits anything like that for His glory". When he joined the 28th season in 2019, the show ensured to market him as a NFL'er MVP and ensured to glorified all of his success to try to mask the reason why his casting was controversial - he was one of the many controversial casting choices during the season. He found himself partnered with Cheryl Burke. He was not a great dancer at all, as it was evident in their two dances - Salsa & Foxtrot ; Normally, a celebrity who is not good in latin will be good in ballroom & vice versa, but for Ray, he was terrible at both as he scored 15 out of 30 for both of those. By Week 3, we were feeling that he would probably be one of those celebrity that overstay their welcome but he ended up to withdrew from the competition after sustaining an injury. SAVING: TERESA GIUDICE
*Lily Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Jimmie Allen Jimmie Allen is a country singer who appeared on Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars, partnering with Emma Slater. It seemed as so he was on the show as he was on the come-up in his career, he later went on to get a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. He wasn't one of the people I really rooted for on this season but I liked him well enough. I thought he improved over time and had a good partnership with Emma. He got four tens over the season which is something I completely would have forgotten until looking at his journey. The standard for the top six that season was on the whole, pretty good, so I think he went at the right time. Anyway, I'm cutting Jimmie because there were some very disturbing allegations which emerged last year, which led to him being terminated by his record company and dropped by his managers. Looking at his social media, he's still making music and posting as normal. I haven't read into the case much more since but I remember seeing the initial stories which emerged and it was a rough read. Another easy cut at this early stage in the game. Save Marie Osmond
FrogLenzen Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 Jeffrey Ross Jeff is a comedian mostly know as a staple of the Comedy Central Roasts. Like I can't imagine that he actually knows all of those people, maybe he does, but he's always on the panel to roast no matter who it is. He did the show way back in Season 7 which was what, 2008 or something? So honestly he might be more famous now than he was back then. He was paired with queen Edyta who could never catch a break lmao and she accidentally poked the poor guy in the eyeball and they almost had to withdraw. He was a good sport about it and persevered and still danced, and was awarded with straight 4s from the judges for his efforts. That was his only dance, so he had no opportunity to improve that average and is still tied for the second-worst average in the history of the show. There were some sex allegations in 2020 which I have no in-depth knowledge about so let's just say this elimination is for being bad at dance and bad at the show. Save Kelly Osbourne
Solaris Posted January 6, 2024 Posted January 6, 2024 (edited) Kim Kardashian One could almost forget that Kim Kardashian was on Dancing with the Stars before her and her family blew up to what they are. I am not a fan of the Kardashian family, so this is an easy cut for me. Kim was Mark's third partner, before he really became one of the standout pros on the show. The couple lasted 3 weeks on the show because Kim was not a great dancer. Her scores for her three dances steadily declined prior to her elimination. She received a 19 in week 2, followed by an 18 in week 2 and lastly a 17 in her final week. None of her dances stand out, and her brother was the superior Kardashian dancer to appear on the show.
