I have never seen this performance being mentioned on here. Which is surprising because c'mon, this has become gay culture lol. 15 years old gay me was SHOCKED.

If someone can't watch it, this is Gaga and Xtina's duet.

It's a really good pop song, it's a shame R. Kelly's name is attached to it. She should've recorded it with Xtina and released it again.

I guess this is cheating a bit since she didn't turn any chairs, but Brittney Spencer has a tiny desk concert. Was really good.

@Shinuki

Idol has literally the same line up for 7 consecutive seasons, shouldn't be  that hard for The Voice to do something similar?

Tbh, that’s why I like The Voice better. I like how they change up the coaches literally every season. They mix things up. It gives me a reason to watch every season.

Here was my reason to watch (Starting with when I more actively watched):

Season 23: Two New Coaches, Blake’s Last Season, and Kelly Clarkson’s Back.

Season 24: First Season Without Blake. First Season With Reba. Gwen without Blake. John without Blake.

Season 25: John + Chance on the same season. Double Chair first time.

Season 26: Two New Coaches. Gwen and Reba are two kind queens.

Season 27: Kelsea as a full-time coach (I feel like she’ll be like Kelly). Adam Is Back! First time Adam without Blake on the show.

The Voice was nominated for the Outstanding Reality Competition Program at this year's Emmy Awards.

And since NBC only have The Voice and Saturday Night Live running for the nominations, I predict the show will stay around for a couple years in the future.

I completely agree. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I just love how much the show has been experimenting with their coaches lately. If you told me that Michael Bublé, Chance The Rapper, Snoop Dogg, and Niall Horan would all join as coaches in a time period spanning less than two years, I would not believe you. We also had a double chair which was something new (I didn’t love how much they played it up, but it was a good new addition, and long overdue). Reba seems so sweet, so does Gwen, who I thought would never come back, but she did. I never thought Adam would come back, but he did. When John joined in Season 16, I didn’t think he would stay as long as he has. I just love the experimentation with coaches, and tbh, I hope it continues.
Unfortunately, the show will end at some point. I feel like the last season will either be all new coaches, or Blake will return, along with either CeeLo, Pharrell, or John,

Gwen and/or Kelly (Blake/Gwen double chair?),

and Adam.

The eras:

The OG Era:

Seasons 1-6.

Defined by consistency in coaches. Setting up the beginnings of success for the show.

The Pharrell Era:

Seasons 7-10.

Defined by Pharrell’s tenure on the show. He was the one different constant (not Blake or Adam).

The End Of Adam Era:

Seasons 11-16.

Defined by the slow ascent of Adam’s dissatisfaction with the show. Beginnings of experimentation with coaches.

The Post Adam Era:

Seasons 17-20.

Defined by tptb figuring out how to fill Adam’s vacant fourth coach spot. Solid thing going on with Gwen and Nick rotating every other season.

The Experimental Era.

Season 21-Now.

Defined by the vast experimentation in coaches:

Ariana Grande!!!!!!????? OMG!

Camila Cabello!!!

Chance The Rapper!!!!??? omg.

Niall Horan!!!

Reba McEntire!!!

Dan + Shay!!

Michael Bublé!!!!!????? OMG!

Snoop Dogg!!!!!????? OMG!

Kelsea Ballerini!!

Adam’s return!!!??? OMGGGGG!!!!!

It´s interesting that no country male has attempted : "BABY LOCK THEM DOORS AND TURN THE lights down loooooooooooow"

Not sure we can count this as "country male" but "attempted" is definitely the correct word here.
