I've noticed a difference in tone in at least 2, maybe 3 of her performances on the voice so far, and then there's this performance where she sounds jazzy, which again, not really a side we've heard from her on the show

 

You get contestants that can sing many genres but they usually sound the same,  but it seems like she can manipulate her sound to blend in with the genre. Maybe better than anyone else in the competition.

 

Idk, at least that's what I've noticed.

Mara did the best trio AND solo performances tonight. I love both her performances. I don't know how she does it, but she keeps surpassing her previous performances.

I'm in so love with her voice. Not only do I think her solo performance was a vocal slayage, but also it was very enjoyable. She was also the best in her trio as well. She deserves PV.

Ngl last night's performance was alright but nothing compared to her Top 12 performance or blind audition. I understand last night was fan song choice night but this one didn't stick with me. I really hope she steps up the song choices for next week's finale (which I'm still confident she'll receive a pv on)!

I thought last night was one of her best. She really took Niahl’s advice to heart.

I actually liked this performance almost as much as her top 12. She leaned more into her low register and husky voice this time around, but gave us some of her best belting we've heard from her.

 

To go from your lower register and suddenly jump to belting powerfully with no wind up is not an easy thing to do. (Most people build up to that point, not go from 1 to 10) it's very eas to go off the rails with your pitch if you do that, but she executed it nearly flawlessly.

 

Also, showcasing more versatility on her part, this time tackling country.

We're getting two performances from her on Monday, then the duet with Niall on Tuesday.
