QueenKalie Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Without looking I'm sure that @Teraginn loved Ephraim.
QueenKalie Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Okay so that episode was terrible overall. 4

Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Was traveling last night, so I'm catching up now. Mara picking John was obvious after the duet.
FloorWax Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 This episode really had three young girls named Juliette, Julia, and Jenna back to back to back. 3
Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Ruby Leigh was excellent. Nice tone, great yodel, and an overall fun performance. Earned all four of those chairs. Don't care what anyone else says. Reba pick was obvious when she said how happy she was that she's a coach this season. Even more so when she started yodeling at her. But what's the difference between country and country western?

It wasn't easy for many refugees of communism. In any case, Juliette I was worried for since Kelly's not here to appreciate her Latin singing. But her performance was solid enough that she earned the turns that she got. Very shocked that John didn't turn, though, since he's supposed to like Latin singers, too. The Gwen pick was a bit shocking. But now Gwen has her first-ever Latin singer!
Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Julia Roome was wonderful. Very good for thirteen. The Niall pick made sense. Finally! Reba didn't turn for someone who got any turns.
Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Ayvio had a good tone, but he had so many pitchy moments. Plus, he started at eleven and remained there. Not a good way to show how you can build on something. Not surprised with no chair turns.
Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Jenna Marquis was great with the fresh song choice. The way she sang with an accent almost reminded me of Tate McRae. The Gwen pick was a bit shocking, though. I thought that Niall would be her pick.

Rodney Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Ephraim Owens was the Tuesday leak, and I remember liking said leak a lot, even though I wasn't sure of whether or not he should've been a four-chair-turn. Picking John made sense since he pitched the hardest. Singing "Nervous" with his daughter was another hint. Good second episode. Not a single chair-turner so far whom I've felt was undeserving.

Stacey. Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Ephraim - He's definitely got a good voice and a lot of potential, but I think that song needed to be a bit more soft in the places he sang loud. Juliette - Gotta sing in English if she's gonna have any chance otherwise we can't understand/connect with her. Anyway during the bits she did sing in English, she just screeched so no ty. Ruby - Wow such a cool performance! She's really talented, super impressive and awesome voice. Jenna - Such a cool voice and I loved her version of that song. Gives a lil Gina Miles vibe so I'm here for it. Julia - Insaneeeee voice for a 13 year old! Such a pretty tone and her pitch was so on point.
