Please DO NOT post the Season 24 spoilers on other websites (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

This includes comment sections - just because you're fine with knowing the info, it doesn't mean that everyone else is. Please be respectful and do not spoil it for others.

DO NOT directly message or harass the contestants begging for a follow, asking for spoilers, or do anything to otherwise make them uncomfortable.

Getting them to discuss the show could get them in serious trouble, and pestering the contestants could lead them to locking their accounts/setting them to private, which limits our access to info for further rounds.

DO feel free to follow them if you'd like and check out their music on Youtube/Instagram/wherever else. Enjoy!

No information is 100% confirmed. There may be some incorrect names, songs, results, and other information.

Possible Contestants:

Green = confirmed chair turners

Purple = possibly in (travel or other reason)

Yellow = weaker evidence (not enough to be confirmed "in", but not necessarily out)

Orange = low confidence/presumed out

Some thoughts on the blind auditions so far:

- Prettiest blind audition: Grace's -- listening to it again, I could hear some of the more subtle runs she did. That was magnificent.

- Favorite note(s) in a blind audition: Kique's low notes -- I hope we get to hear more of that in his future performances. The low notes were the highlight of his blind audition for me; I wasn't a big fan of the later parts of it.

- Most polished blind audition: Emma's -- everything about the performance felt very very well-executed.

- Most-repeated blind audition: Ava's -- something about this performance makes me keep repeating it. Loved the flip!

- Underrated auditions: Reina's and Valarie's -- Reina was so powerful and polished; Valarie was also extremely powerful, and that last run on "real" was insane!

- Other favorites: Parijita's and Omar's -- both very solid performanes in very different ways. I hope they both make it far, if they continue performing like in their blind auditions. I fear though that I've played both of these performances so much that they've lost their "shine" a little bit? :(

(Frankly, I think there's a looot of other great performances I could highlight by bringing up other categories, but I figured that by doing so, I would end up mentioning most of the performances, and then it would be unfortunate because the few performances I didn't like as much would be the only ones left out.)

Also, I know there's still one episode left, so I may end up quoting this and changing some stuff around then, but I have been thinking about this for some time (particularly the fact that I keep repeating Ava's audition; it really sticks out to me, since I can't put my finger on why I keep doing so). I'm curious to hear y'all's takes on some of these categories.

so many changes going on right now, and with Blake's announcement of leaving, people can use this thread to speculate what might happen after that so we don't use the Season 23 thread for that.

I won't sticky it for now, too many stickies already, will add to consolidated stick for a quick link

Blake Shelton Confirms Season 23 of The Voice Will Be His Last

It's the end of an era.

The self-proclaimed G.O.A.T. of The Voice will be retiring his red chair. Yes, it's been announced that Season 23, airing in 2023, will be Blake Shelton's last. The news comes as it was revealed that Season 23 will also have a new panel of Coaches: Kelly Clarkson will return after a hiatus alongside newcomers Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.

Shelton has been a Coach on The Voice since the first season in 2011, when he was a part of the original cast with Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. He's offered his musical expertise on every episode since. The country star proudly holds the title of most-winningest Coach in the show's history with eight victories for #TeamBlake: Season 2 (Jermaine Paul), Season 3 (Cassadee Pope), Season 4 (Danielle Bradbery), Season 7 (Craig Wayne Boyd), Season 11 (Sundance Head), Season 13 (Chloe Kohanski), Season 18 (Todd Tilghman), and Season 20 (Cam Anthony).

But what's perhaps even more special? He met his wife, Gwen Stefani, while working on the show. They officially tied the knot in July 2021.

“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23,” Shelton said in a statement. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people; you are the best."

He continued, "It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week. I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson and every single one my fellow Coaches over the years, including my wife Gwen Stefani! I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers–the ‘Voices,’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent, and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their Coach. Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these Artists, us Coaches, and everyone at The Voice who are chasing their dreams. It would not happen without you!"

Since no The Voice fan quite knows what it's like to watch without Shelton, it's an understatement to say he'll be missed.

Blake leaving, Gwen leaving as a definite package deal. I’m not ok.

Wait really?

Well rip the show by S24, maybe S25 LOL.

Unless they get someone like Dolly Parton to replace him(they won't lol)

it's sad to see Blake leave, it's like in a series where the main actor leaves, it will leave a void but... it can breathe new life into the show, it will make more new coaches to discover, new tensions, new coaching, you also have to see the positive and not directly say: more blake = end of the show

there are surely other stars to discover who will be incredible

I'll miss Blake on the show, I appreciated that he appreciated old school country, and I liked how supportive he was of his contestants. He also has a quick wit. I think you only need to see how many artists the various singing shows have burned through to realize it's relatively rare.

I hear your point on a new lead, but the history of shows continuing to do well after the main coach/judge/main character leaves though are few and far between (Idol needed a year cancelled and a new network)

Obviously, Blake was one of the pillars of the show and it will therefore leave a huge void, but I am confident that this departure will breathe new life into the world for us to discover other stars.

i could see Keith Urban take his place, because on the Australian version he always reminds me of Blake, always turns to country, is funny, good coach

then there are others who could come and who will be good, but yes at the end of season 23, there will be a little twinge in the heart as we say in France, a page turns and another opens

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m kinda glad that he’s leaving. I love Blake and what he brings to the show but I think it’s time for a big change on the show. The last few seasons have been a bit bland in the coaching panel, so changing it up would be interesting. Plus it’s about time that we get a female country coach on the panel.

About the future of the show - Blake's departure could basically go in both ways.

The first one - the show without him will lose a massive amount of viewers. Come on, when minivan won't see Blake on a screen, they would just turn it off. With that, I see them continuing it until S25 as a finale season and that's it.

Or the second one - the show without Blake would just reinvent itself. The most likely, John and Kelly would have to carry the show on their backs in S24, but it could be a really cool way of getting more new coaches, maybe older ones, more familiar to older public - Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire. I just don't know if there is gonna be an audience for that tho.

right and with the way broadcast tv has been going down and ratings have been plummeting, i could see the show ending in a few years
