I mean I don't have high hopes but I didn't have high hopes for Tyler's other showmance and then I actually ended up liking Angela so /shrug.

Oh I think the difference is that Angela was always a strong competitor/great in comps (and I suppose had some good gameplay for her allies) while Alyssa.... did what Alex said.   Though I would love to be proven wrong.

Lmaoo this cast is wild.  I totally forgot about The Challenge vets being apart of this season. Not really here for that and wish they kept it straight up CBS reality show alums but oh well. Seeing the dynamic between the CBS peeps and The Challenge vets should be interesting.

Like I said I don't have high hopes but I do agree with most of this. Angela is definitely way more athletic that's for sure. I definitely wouldn't classify either of them as having good game play during Big Brother though they were both pretty bad at it. Although Angela did align herself with the right people at least.

Ooh I thought she had good gameplay in the sense of aligning herself with people that were better in comps and got further in the game (though likability and rootability wasn't really there + I didn't personally like her game moves).  Meanwhile I found the other alliance more fun and likable but they were terrible at the game.

I remember you saying something similar about Tommy Sheehan's lack of showing in his The Challenge season so I wonder if you could be right again.

I never really thought about it but looking at the cast, I guess I also prefer Team Survivor too.  But I'm still willing to give Team Big Brother a chance as well.

Bumping this up as this premieres tonight! I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch live, but I'll definitely be watching tomorrow.

 

Here's my quick pre-season rankings:

1. Michaela - Duh. She delivered in spades on Survivor and her one episode stint on The Challenge was way too short. So glad she's getting a second chance and I'm hoping she can deliver.

2. Amanda - Amanda is hitting the sweet spot on the show where she returns just as we begin missing her. She's certainly gonna stir the pot and I can't wait to see it.

3. Tiffany - No matter how short her stint is, Tiffany is always gonna deliver on reality television.

4. Jonna - Jonna's return from to the Challenge Universe has been nothing short of legendary, we have to stan.

5. Michele - I kinda sighed when I found out Michele was also doing 39. I think Michele fatigue can kick in soon. But for now, she is a strong presence in all aspects of the show and I'm looking forward to seeing her here.

6. Dusty - Lol I was not rooting for him on his TAR season, but I saw his psycho potential and I think the Challenge house is the perfect place for it to break free.

7. Faysal - Faysal's been the only one delivering on this show the past few seasons and the sooner you admit that the happier you'll be!!! He gives us drama, hookups, ego, competitiveness!!! This is what we want from the show!!! Time to turn on the Vacation Alliance Faysal!!!!!

8. Cassidy - I rooted for her on Survivor, though I wouldn't consider myself a stan or anything. I'm just not sure how she will transfer her over to this show. But I'm still a fan and I'm rooting for her right now.

9. Chanelle - Kind of a random choice? But she seems strong and she was a bit messy on Survivor so I'm excited for her!

10. Desi - She's not gonna be the most entertaining, but she's strong + likable. We need her to knock out the other strong girls we don't like lol.

11. Alyssa L. - Alyssa L is good! I think she has a lot of potential and I'm hoping to see it realized one day.

12. Chris - Lol another random choice, but one I'm excited for. Even if I don't think Chris deserved his win, I did like him on his season. And I think he has a chip on his shoulder here, so he could deliver...

13. Cory - I don't see Cory topping my rankings, but I like him and I'm glad to see him back after his break.

14. Tyler - I've never been a Tyler fan. Having said that, I respect what he did in BB20 and what he brought to the show. Obviously he sucked in BB22, but his heart was so not in it. Hopefully this post-Angela Tyler could be interesting. I actually liked Angela on S1 so that gives me some hope.

15. Wes - I like Wes overall, but he hasn't really delivered for me since WOTW...Maybe this'll be a comeback season for him?

16. Paulie - Look I obviously hate Paulie, but I've had enough of a break from him. I'm ready to see him back and hopefully shake the table.

17. Luis - He bordered between annoying and boring on TAR. I don't have high hopes, but we'll see.

18. Ameerah - She had potential on BB24, but then she got evicted and I didn't really care. I'll come into this with an open mind about her.

19. Sebastian - Lol? I almost put him higher because of the randomness of plucking him out of thin air to put him on the show. But he was so charismaless in his seconds of screentime he got on Survivor, I can't put him any higher than this.

20. Josh - I'm going in with an open mind, maybe his time off has calmed him down, but he's already on the thinnest of ice.

21. Alyssa S. - I can't believe some casting producer watched Alyssa S do nothing for 70 days on Big Brother and thought she needed another reality show.

22. Monte - He cycled between boring and awful on BB24. I can handle nice + boring or entertaining + awful. But boring + awful is literally the worst combination on reality television.

23. Tori - So done with her.

24. Bananas - So done with him.
