I mean, it's clearly what you're dying wanting to happen based on all your posts ever since Emmy got the boot LOL so for your sake I hope it does or the salt won't be coming from Abi's fans since you're convinced she has no shot and keeps making comments like that Edited May 17 by wildestinvegas
TeamAudra
Maybe “overconfidence” isn’t the right word. It may be more accurate to say there’s an obsession with winning the show. I think it would be fun to see Will win, but I don’t think his future depends on it, so I don’t care that much about the results. I’d rather see Abi win than Jack, so there is that. But also I literally don't care who wins, all I care about is that I get to see a bunch of people like perform at the finale so that's going to be cool. wildestinvegas
I would love for Abi to win because I don't remember the last time I had a fav of mine winning a singing competition (I just tried to think back on it and I can't even trace back to the past to try to point out when it was the last time it happened LMAOOOO), prob Maddie? LOL so it's been awhile and I think someone like her winning would be really refreshing for the Idol franchise and would make me more excited about following seasons. But if she doesn't win, it's fine. I'll get over it in one day because at least she got to perform as much as the show allowed her to perform and with Idol, most contestants get a decent following and actually releases music post season. With The Voice winning feels more important because everyone disappears and doesn't release sh*t so a win is the only thing you can claim Edited May 17 by wildestinvegas

Women deserve representation on the winner circle on both AI and TV. Them having representation will end mysoginy?? Not, but it will show that América can still acknowledge their talents and see them as worthy winners. It's unfair that they have to work twice as hard just to achieve half of what men in the music industry achieve.

I supported her, not because she’s black, but because I like her singing, and it didn’t hurt that she sings country. Others chose to support the white sibling trio instead. Some of them still complain about the lack of a black female winner.

Idk, you were pretty pissed when Kaylee was eliminated on The Voice. I recall you even acussed John of having poor strategy tactics and saying that he doesn't how to play the game, which i agree with. But if you don't care about your favorite winning, why did you care about "strategy" or any of those things?

wildestinvegas
Btw Abi just did a live stream on instagram and she heavily implied that the 3rd round of the finale (after the third place gets eliminated) is gonna be the winner singles because someone asked her if she was gonna sing her song live on Idol and she said “only if you guys vote and I can make it far enough” Edited May 17 by wildestinvegas
TeamAudra
I’ve listened to all songs. Will - This is a good story telling song. It sounds like something Tim McGraw would have sung 20 years ago. Probably not a radio hit, but it should go over well with this audience. Abi- Not my cup of tea, but she sounds lovely. Jack - This is fine I guess, but not particularly strong, lyrically. If Abi makes it the final 2, she’ll be at a disadvantage with that song compared to either of the others, IMO. I’m just basing this on the demographics of the show’s audience, nothing more, nothing less. That doesn’t mean she can’t still win, because I do suspect she has it in the bag.
wildestinvegas
I just listened to the songs as well and I thought the 3 were good fits for them. Abi is much better than the song she released back in march and Will’s is a great fit for his tone. I’ll say that I didn’t expect Jack’s to sound so country production wise. I thought it was gonna be more folk-sy. I agree Abi is prob on a disavantage when it comes to the originals if she were to make to Final 2 because the other songs are a full plate for minivan to feast LOL but hers has a contemporary feeling to it that probably will be easily digestable to them as well and it’s def the song with the most vocal showcase so she can prob make a good performance out of it. The voting usually closes 2-3 minutes after the last performance of the third round so if the winner singles are indeed the last round of performances like she implied, they shouldn’t affect the overall result too much because 2h35-2h40 hours of voting would’ve happened by then. They are really not letting this Top 3 breathe ever since Top 5 results, the amount of stuff they had to do throughout the week, I would be so overwhelmed, LOL.
