After going through her TikTok today what I liked about it is the diversity of songs she covers. She can sing modern songs she can sing classical country songs she can do anything in the genre which is great. I don't know what team she may or may not be on but Blake would probably make the most sense. Although Kelly wouldn't be bad either.

Yeah, it has to be between Blake and Kelly.

She can definitely sing other genres too, but she obviously settled on country a couple years ago. There are a couple of covers in there where she put a indie-folk spin on them. One of them is a Johnny Cash song. It was super fresh sounding. I’ll post it one of these days, when I find it again.

I saw a couple of rocks songs towards the bottom those were kinda interesting but I didn't think her style fit well with some of those songs.

I’ve mentioned it, and I agree. To be able to play like that is a huge asset.

Yes. Grace already has a large collection of guitars, but I'm hoping the spoilers are correct and she adds a new model from Blake and Takamine this spring.

Yeah, she has a ridiculous level of talent. It’s not just about range and power, although she’s more than adequate in that department. She’s gifted at the story telling aspect of it, and it looks effortless.

This is true. Of course she has range, but that's not the only thing that makes me want to listen to her. Her tone and her story telling ability have a lot to do as well.

That’s quite a long list of covers. The biggest difference in a year and a half I noticed is she has way more power now than she did in the earlier covers, and probably more range, as well. Her lower register is very strong. She goes pretty low in some of the covers. She’ll continue to get even better, as long as she keeps working at it.

Yes, it is. I think there are 93 non-originals on her TikTok account, with only these four covers repeated twice each:

Patsy Cline - She's Got You and Walkin' After Midnight
Randy Travis - I Told You So (both videos were taken down on 02/01/23)
Reba McEntire - Why Haven't I Heard from You

(Changed total. I thought one song was an original, but it's actually a cover)

I usually worry about song choices, because there aren’t as many female country singers to pick songs from, but looking at that list of 92 covers, I have zero concerns. Some of the songs are better choices than others obviously, but that’s a pretty solid list. She has good taste.

Of course this was a year and a half ago, but it seems like the “I don’t know if I want a genre” sentiment is common among females in Nashville, for obvious reasons. Morgan Myles basically said the same thing a few months ago, and so did Wendy Moten. As of right now, it’s pretty clear Grace is a country singer.

EDIT: However, it is noteworthy that her bios on IG, Twitter, and Facebook don’t mention “country.”
She labels herself as “Singer-songwriter” and “musician.” Of course, TikTok is a different story….”Classic country enthusiast.” That’s probably been on there for a while.

If you scroll way back to the early days on her Facebook, she was regularly covering Reba with twang when she was 13.

There are so many good songs on her TikTok that could work on the show. I keep going back to this one. Has this been covered on the show before? It’s almost as though it was written for her.

Emily Ann did it in s9, but I don't remember if anyone else has done it.
