I personally think he got too personal at times, and I didn't like that. I preferred Australia's last traitor's gameplay. Alas, he played well tho.

After watching up to the penultimate episode, it's clear that you're right about the first sentence.  But . . . I can't agree with the last sentence.  As someone else said, it was clear that Amanda was carrying him.  Once he betrayed her and got her banished, he started to spiral without her.  It was clear that she was the logical, strategic player, while he was too emotional.  He'd have been better off as a Faithful.

I'm going to guess that Hannah, the Faithful who most stridently believed that he was innocent, was especially shocked when she finally learned the truth.

Rachel arrived and her banishment was horrible to watch. I get why she felt betrayed because they all planned it behind her back and she was shocked.

Kate needs to find a chiropractor immediately because her back must be hurting from carrying the entire season on her shoulders. I haven’t seen Below Deck but I’m going to watch it just for her. She is the moment.

Cirie betraying every traitor is so Cirie. She played a good game but I struggled to get excited most of the time because the faithfuls had terrible judgement so it made it easy for her. Even at the final banishment when she single handedly outed Arie, they didn’t suspect her. :whut: Why do I feel as if Hannah would’ve continued to play?! Cirie definitely deserved it as a traitor but I do think she had one of the easiest jobs playing with these people.

Cirie played a masterful game, indeed, but betraying the other traitors wasn't too surprising, considering that Cody and Christian both presented themselves as liabilities pretty early on.  I was floored by how quickly Cody got people on to him, and how sloppily Christian played, as well.

But to be fair, we have all of the information, while the faithfuls have next to none, so we have to cut them a bit of slack.  They're working with whatever clues they can determine for themselves.  I think the only ones who deserve to be considered as having terrible judgment are Quentin (who staunchly believed that Cody was a faithful even though he messed up more than enough that it should've been painfully clear that he wasn't) and all three co-winners on the U.K. version (because how many times did Wilfred slip up and they still didn't get a clue?!).  So it's understandable in some cases, but not in others.

I watched Episodes 5-7 over the last few days. Now just got 3 episodes left.

Wow so much has changed since I watched the show from last weekend.

Regarding the Traitors, last time I commented, I thought Christian was the messy player but then it ended up being Cody. Ugh Cody definitely played too hard and blew his cover telling Kyle some info that Ryan said before his murder. Then wow, Kyle and Stephenie caught onto him from there. I was surprised seeing Christian & Cirie turn on him and I was wondering if the traitors would turn on each other at some point. But I totally get why they were doing so as Cody was becoming too obvious and blowing his cover.

I do feel bad for Angelica and Shelbie going as well. :( Lol I get why the traitors are keeping Kate around but I am surprised the loyals are keeping her around. I thought they would have gotten rid of her like sometime after Michael or Kyle. :haha: I am glad Rachel has been avoiding elimination as she has been becoming a target lately.

Wow the twist at the end of Episode 7. 😮 I am curious who Cirie & Christian will choose to join them as a traitor and if they'll join them.

Ah okay, I finally watched last 3 episodes all today.

- Ahh it was really interesting seeing how The Traitors recruited Arie. I thought he did a pretty good/solid job as a traitor, although he didn't really get to do as much as the original traitors.

- WTH was Christian thinking when he revealed that recruiment twist. :dead: That just ruined his game and I was not surprised he ended up being banished in the 9th episode.

- I was sad to see Stephenie and Rachel go on Episode 8 (and the start of 9), but it was to be expected. Both were smart and starting to clue in on the traitors, so I get why they were targeted and went.

- Ooh I think I forgot to mention Rachel vs. Kate, but omgg I loved their rivalry so much. :dead: They really hated each other and brought so much drama in that rivalry. :haha:

- Ooof that finale was reallly intense. I was kinda really liking how well Cirie & Arie were working together. I was thinking they were gonna work together and split the money together. But then Cirie threw some curveballs and blindsided Arie towards the end. I understand her reasons for what she did because yeah Arie didn't have to work nearly as hard at being a traitor like Cirie did. So her reason for turning on him makes sense.

- Ahhh the last bit of the show was kind of tough/sad to watch. I love the alliance and bond that Cirie, Andie and Quentin all had. You could tell it was genuine and they loved and believed in each other. Seeing Cirie admit the truth and Andie's reaction to it was so sad and heartbreaking. :( I felt for Andie there. :broken: But Andie understood what Cirie had to do and took it with grace. But on the other hand, wow Cirie really did play an incredible game as the traitor. She was the main one that people hardly suspected as a traitor. There were a very few rare select times people suspected her but nothing really built up on that. She also played her role so well in being trustworthy towards others - she wasn't too quiet or too talkative. She never gave too much info either. She played it incredibly well with having everyone trust her and was deserving of winning this show. I'm so glad she was able to win a reality show after trying to do so 4 times with Survivor.

Yayy now I can properly read this thread and see everyone's comments. :haha:

About each point I saved.

-Yes, I have no idea of what Christian was thinking by mentioning the recruitment twist.  Oh, actually, yes, I do.  Christian came off someone who thought that he was smarter and cleverer than he actually was.  And he definitely got a rude awakening at what ended up being his banishment.

-Cirie played the betrayal of Arie masterfully, indeed.  But I don't get why he just bowed out instead of get banished.

-I did feel bad for Andie, since she was definitely smarter than several of the other faithfuls and at least rightly suspected Cody and Christian.  Cirie was just that good that few people suspected her, too.  But honestly, as much as I liked him okay, I felt no real pity for Quentin.  He was like a black male version of Hannah from the U.K. version and blindly, staunchly believed in Cody and Christian being faithfuls when they weren't, even when the other faithfuls presented evidence of them being traitors.  He blindly believed in Cirie, too, and it did him in.

100% agree that it’s easy for us to comment knowing who the traitors are but I found this group to be far too trusting of each other which was ultimately their downfall. They became fixated on Kate, Shelbe, Rachel and Kyle far too easily instead of looking at the bigger picture. The fact that certain people always led the vote away from Kate and she wasn’t murdered was a big indicator. Kate’s a smart woman but I don’t think she would’ve been capable of embodying a traitor character, throwing challenges and going down her own path all at the same time. She’s reality tv gold for being Kate Chastain and not someone else.

Andie and Quentin were the typical examples of being lead and not leading the game to make their own decisions. They didn’t question Cirie after outing a traitor alone which was the most shocking moment for me. Not the fact she did it but that they just praised her with no suspicion. It was like both were playing a completely different game to everyone else. Both seem like lovely people but they brought zero to the game and winged it. I thought the same about Meryl on the UK show but she had some comedic moments and I stanned how she embraced how useless she had been lol. Christian and Cody messed up too much and the other were blind to everything. Even Rachel, who I consider to be one of the best players on reality television.

I hope there’s a season two and they can get it together after seeing a season. I’m using the excuse that none of them had seen the show before signing up.

Traitors Canada rumored cast

Erika Casupanan - Survivor US

Kevin Martin - Big Brother Canada

Miss Fiercalicious - Canada's Drag Race

Kuzie Mujakachi - Big Brother Canada

Mickey Henry - The Amazing Race Canada

Mai Nguyen - MasterChef Canada

Dom Isleasi - Game of Homes

Leroy Fontaine - The Brigade

Gurleen Maan - Farming For Love

I’m looking forward to finally getting to know Kuzie whom I’ve heard good things about despite skipping her season. Excited to see Erika as well, will be interested to see if she can recreate her Survivor success. Meh on Kevin unless he can have a Cody Calafiore-esque downfall.

It's allegedly half civilians half reality stars like US. So if that's the case, should be one more reality guy missing.

I watched the first episode of New Zealand's Traitors it seems like a solid cast the twists at the start were fun so that's good. I didn't see any standouts in episode 1 but everyone seemed to get some edit at least so maybe they were just trying to evenly distrubute the air time in the first episode.

I watched the first week of both NZ and AUS. I enjoyed the AUS episode more and there were a few more standout cast members (Sarah and Annabel :wub:) but NZ had the more shocking elimination ceremony.

I agree the Aus cast is very strong there are so many big characters so that season has a ton of potential.

NZ beat Aus for me tonight.

Brodie is f*cking amazing and must be protected at all costs. Super confrontational, but surprisingly perceptive. I'm so worried she's dying tonight. But this may be the best faithful cast I've ever seen, I mean wow they're 2 for 3 already. I don't really care for Dan & Brooke so I'm hoping the faithfuls can sniff them out too. I believe Justine's onto Dan so I have hope.

The Aus episode got good towards the end, but Sam suuuuuuuucks. Just major big move-itis. No reason to turn on Ash already. I'm glad his plan failed and I hope Ash can get him before he gets her. I didn't think I'd be rooting for Luke, but I'm impressed by the producer's restraint in not making him a traitor. I hope Ash believes him that Sam orchestrated the plan to take Ash out. So yeah didn't love the episode, but I'm hopeful for the next one.
