allistr
As you can see, the two versions of The Voice are not in the same league as each other; while some contestants from the UK franchise are rather underwhelming and probably would not make it far during the US version (let alone getting a chair turn), there are some others in particular who can potentially do great if they are in US version. Discuss. Edited December 19, 2022 by Ottoxxx
Gustavo527
The audience from The Voice UK is not that different from The Voice USA's, (yes, a bunch of white soccer moms, basically) but the talent's pool there is painfully inferior, so it's hard to tell. Let's play a game, i post the auditions of some of my favorite contestants on TVUK (Only BBC) and then i'll try to tell: -How they would be received on IDF -Their ceiling on The Voice USA. Let's go: she would be loved here! She probably would have a solid share of fans that like soulful singers Ceiling on The Voice US: Top 10, maybe Top 8 Rock fans here would be all over him (And he sang a song by The Killers, i know an user that would have been happy about that ) Ceiling on The Voice USA: probably Playoffs, if not Top 13 at best Snowflake 100%. The meltdown here when she lost would have been HUGE Ceiling on The Voice USA: Her talent would take her to Top 8, and i can see her in the finale, but it would depend on her team (Sadly) IDF would massively have a big respect for her talent. Ceiling on TVUS: Minivan would appreciate her, honestly. But of the finalists of The Voice USA, only Wendy is older than her. But i'd to say Semifinal Maybe a little polarizing, but she would still have a lot of fans here. Ceiling on TVUS: The lack of talent in The Voice UK, plus the certain level of appreciation that some people there still have for rock music is what took her to the finale there. But in The Voice she would be way to polarizing. Probably Top 13 or Top 11 A very high chance of him being an snowflake (And there would be some thirst over him) Ceiling on TVUS: this one is tricky, he was very consistent on The Voice UK so i assume his talent alone would have took him to Top 8. He in the finale would depend on his team (again) Alt-rock guy with powerful voice?? Snowflake 100%. IDF would have massively celebrated his victory. Ceiling on TVUS: he is fireman and a family man. I can somehow see him as finalist with Blake, like bodie this season. Mmm, IDF would love her. Maybe a her tone would not be for everyone, tho. Ceiling on TVUS: Her tone would be polarizing with Minivan, but her performance of Loving You would have gave her massive support. Still, probably semifinal She would have her good share of fans here but some people would not be convinced by her Ceiling on TVUS: She was 17 when she auditioned so that would have helped her. But her overall style and lack of stage presence would make her a Top 10's elimination. She would also have a good amount of fans, but some people here would actively dislike her tone. Ceiling on TVUS: She screams "Top 11's elimination" to me for some reason lol I want to say "IDF's snowflake, obviously", but idk, she is not quite there. But i think that maybe her KO would have made IDF's go nuts over her. Ceiling on TVUS: Semifinal, probably. No question. Snowflake. Some haters here and there, but they would be the minority. Ceiling on TVUS: it would depend on her song choices. If she sang Rihanna like she did in TVUK, the result would be the same: Instant elimination. She would have to keep the level of her audition to be a finalist, but probably her ceiling is Semifinal anyways I'm gonna stop there but i honestly could go on. Wow, this show used to have a lot of talent, too bad nowadays is not even the shadow of what it used to be

I've seen some people on YouTube comparing these two as well. Ash has one of my fav international Blind auditions, right up there with Sebastian Krenz, Steve McCorie, Vincent Vinel, Fernando Daniel and many more. AngelaKD
I loved Connor Scott too. But he’d probably be singing Country on the Voice US.

Except for maybe Leah I guess, her tone's hit or miss for me but she has something really cool about her voice.

With Blake? For sure. But Sawyer spend the entire competition without singing any song that could be classified as actually country. So, with another coach, Conor would still follow the alternative/folk route that he took on his short run on The Voice UK (He deserved better) If Sawyer won, i could see him making it far on The Voice USA as well, but he would need to be pushed enough by TPTB for that to happen

erik g
I loved the winner of Season 7 of The Voice UK Ruti (specifically when she sang "Dreams" and her duet with Sir Tom Jones) but I doubt she'd make it past Battles on the US version (that's if she even turns a chair). She's way too unique for us lol
AngelaKD
I guess I’m breaking your rule, because this is from the ITV era, but my absolute favorite UK contestant was Chloe Castro. To this day, I’m sad she had to withdraw before live shows. Her 3 pre-live performances were extraordinary. The best Sia cover on any show IMO. It was a disgrace that she had to withdraw. She is too unique for the US, unfortunately. Easily a finalist, i guess. I mean, he is better than a lot of country finalists from the USA. But on the other hand, i don't know if he could handle the longer format, since he struggled in the lives on The Voice UK

Teraginn
The Voice UK died upon switch to iTV as far as I'm concerned, so it's only fitting that the two vocalists I absolutely loved from this franchise were from Seasons 4 and 5. One of the most unique voices I heard in any Voice franchise. And he's a sweetheart. He would have KILLED at TVUS. One of the UK's best kept secrets, IIBH. What a vocalist. And I just love the texture of his voice. Get him to Eurovision already!
