Gustavo527
Pick your favorite. I guess most people here are familiarized with Bryce's run on the show. For the ones that didn't see AI last season, i found this compilation of Noah's performances Btw, it would be nice if you don't come here to just say "None". That type of answers don't add nothing to the conversation and i'd rather to avoid them. Thanks. Edited December 15, 2022 by Gustavo527
Anybody354
I haven’t watched Bryce’s last few performances yet, but I can almost certainly say Noah. Noah’s tone us more distinct, and I enjoyed his performances more.
Misirlou
Noah´s "Working Man" was great, and after watching the compilation of his performance, he was more consistent than Bryce. But as a whole, these two dudes, while talented, have a lot to work on.

TeamAudra
I didn’t watch American Idol, aside from parts of a few episodes. Is Noah a songwriter? Is Bryce? I think that is important, because otherwise, they are left with scraps that others higher on the food chain didn’t want. Good vocals matter little without good songs. Hsamid
Noah was more vocally consistent and musically diverse, so him.

Yeah, i liked her more as well but i got the impression that she was even more hated on IDF than Noah so it was hard to root for her, but she was my winner

That surprises me tbh since usually any guy is automatially more hated lol. I haven't properly checked the Idol section for a few seasons now tho or even been that invested in the show as much.

Tbf, both of them got a good amount of hate and criticism on here, Leah was the overall snowflake, Nicolina was mostly respected for her vocal ability and Fritz was polarizing. That's the impression i remember i got reading the Idol sub-forum
Misirlou
I remembered checking out the Idol forum and Hunter was indeed very criticized, even more than Noah, but her tone can be polarizing. I didn´t care too much for it, but she´s a good singer. Leah was the IDF snowflake. Noah´s reception was like pretty much almost every country guy on The Voice: meh, but I guess he´s winning/making it far.
FloorWax
I liked quite a few Noah performances actually, moreso than Bryce iirc, so he would be my pick. 33 minutes ago, Gustavo527 said: Yeah, i liked her more as well but i got the impression that she was even more hated on IDF than Noah so it was hard to root for her, but she was my winner Sorry I did not get Huntergirl at all Always preferred Noah to her lmao

Gustavo527
I already watched all of their runs. Bryce had higher highs, like, when he was, he was ON. But in the middle of his run, he had a bunch of average performances, from his knockout to his Top 13. His pure country tone carried him through these rounds, considering Minivan love singers with that country tone, (and i don't blame them, i enjoyed his tone too ). Also, i'd dare to say that he connects better with the songs than Noah did, the only time i felt something from a Noah's performances was with "Working Man". But still, with all that said, Noah definitely was more consistent, and i also enjoyed his tone to some degree. It's hard, but i'd go with Noah. If Bryce would have kept the level of his audition or his finale ballad during all season, i'd probably pick him, but i just can't overlook all the mediocrity he gave in the middle rounds of the show.
QueenKalie
How do you choose from mediocrity?
Teraginn
Both are very limited singers and have that aww-shucks quality about them, but Noah's tone is much more pleasing to me. Noah also has stronger crossover appeal than Bryce. Sad that I liked the AI winner better than the Voice winner in 2022, but that's the way it goes I guess.
Gustavo527
Ok. How bad has to be a winner of The Voice to lose against an American Idol winner (a quite mediocre one, let's be honest) on the freaking VOICE sub-forum? Big yikes

Big yikes Thing is, Bryce fell asleep in the middle of the competition and woke up at the end. Had he mantained the level of the last weeks throughout the show, the poll would have probably been in his favor. Most of the people here rarely have their favourites win. We're too desensitized to be bitter, and we also wouldn't continue watching if we cared that much about 1st place for our favourite contestants. I know for me, finale is enough since they get the maximum amount of performances. Last time I had a favourite win was Jordan Smith and maybe Chloe MK. Big yikes It's more of a reflection of Noah's much more interesting journey compared to Bryce's. Noah sang Rihanna, John Mayer, Harry Styles and Bruce Springsteen in his run. He actually challenged himself and tried new things. Bryce pretty much stuck to his roots throughout his journey. It's cool if you like what he does, but clearly IDF expects a little more out of their Voice champions. That's one thing AI has over The Voice: they actually push their artists out of their comfort zones, for better or worse. Meanwhile, it's much easier for Voice artists to stay in one gear throughout the competition, and sometimes you get rewarded for it.
