I have no clue how this season is going to shape out with the exception of the top 4 plus 13th and 12th place.

This is so tricky. Brayden is demolishing it on FB every week but how much will that actually mean in the end? Especially when he's such a limited singer.

9. Rowan (i don't think she'll be bottom 4 anymore, we may be underestimating her)

1. Brayden - He had a breakout KO performance followed by a good PO performance that gained a lot of social media support. It seems TPTB chose him to be the country finalist and gave him songs that suits his voice and abilities. If he continues to grow during the season, it could backfire on TPTB and  he'll actually win the show.

2. bodie - TPTB has clearly been pushing him, and closing the show with an emotional performance allowed him to edge out Bryce for the PV this week. He won't win but he can be used to block Bryce from making the finale.

2. Bryce - TPTB obviously does not want him anywhere near the finale, as evidenced by the kinds of songs they've given him after the blinds. I don't see TPTB stopping now.

4. Morgan - She's "best girl" this season and I'm not even a fan yet. She'll probably go up in my rankings depending on what songs are assigned to Brayden and Bryce next week.

5. Parijita - She's good but I think her SM numbers are inflated by International viewers and she's not at Maelyn's level yet.

 

 

6. Justin - If he goes the gospel route, he has the best chance to make the finale among the rest.

7. Omar - He's got people voting for him. He'll need better songs to have a chance of getting into the top 5.

8. Devix - Not many people predicted him to get the PV before the playoffs but I predicted he would. I think he'll continue to perform well going forward, and he will make it to the semis.

 

 

 

9. Kique - I go back and forth between Devix and Kique on the 8/9 placement. They're both good vocalists and entertaining performers though their styles are quite different. But Kique is more at risk with one wrong song than Devix. This placement could improve if he shows a noticeable growth arc in future rounds.

10. Rowan - She may outlast Kique and Devix and actually make the semifinals just on the strength of Team Blake voting, but she's also the most vulnerable to song sabotage among Team Blake members.

11. Kim - TPTB has not been very supportive of Kim, with lack of promotion during the pre-lives. Maybe they have decided on Parijita and Omar as John's frontrunners, as shown by their positive edits, song choices, and favorable performance slots.

12. Alyssa - She's arguably the weakest member of Team Gwen in the Top 16 (based on Monday's performances) but we all knew Gwen's gonna pick her anyway. She will not have the coach save next week.

13. Eric - He's arguably the weakest member of Team Camila  in the Top 16 (based on Monday's performances) but we all knew Camila's gonna pick him anyway. He won't have the coach save next week.

Ready for this to flop, but who cares: Making a little analysis to try to prove my thinking, but wbk it can easily go downhill even by next week.

 

1. Morgan - I believe she's getting a ton of casual support, her blind was the best received among auditions and she's Camila's only shot to reach the Finale and win. She's arguably(lbr, she is) the best singer on this season, and is the most versatile of the cast. She'll get the best treatment and good songs for herself, however I'll be ready to move her down if she gets polarizing, although she's not going to flop at all, the audience will have to reject her for the others.

 

2. Brayden - He's a cute teen boy who sings within his pocket, although he'll need more than that to ultimately win this show. As long as he doesn't flop, he'll probably make the Finale with Blake's support, arguably Runner-Up is possible for him. I'll move him down if Blake's other frontrunner has a Chloe-like run/support.

 

3. Parijita - She's the other TCO/backup winner of the season, her or Morgan are who the producers want to win. She's a teen girl with a lot of vulnerability to her tone, she could very well win, but I'm not too sure yet if her numbers are a fluke. We'll have to wait and see, at worst she makes last in the Finale, I don't see her missing out on going all the way.

 

4. Bodie - He's Blake's favorite, he'll get pushed the hardest. Very Chloe-like, but right now Chloe had her "Landslide" moment, Bodie still needs something like that or "TEOTH" to have a chance to overlap Brayden. His playoffs was good, but I don't think it was enough to set it in stone. I'm ready to move him up because he's 10x the vocalist Brayden is, and will be hard to see him flopping as long as he gets good songs. 

 

5. Justin - It may be a bit of a surprise, but he's consistently been great and has a growth-arc of being a 1-chair turn. While he's with Gwen, I think he's the best shot she has at not getting shut out of the Finale. I think he's someone who can breakout with the right song to really set in stone a Finale spot, if he needs the IS in the Semis, he could get it(Even against Kim tbh, plz don't come after me)

 

6. Bryce - I think he's edged out by Justin because so far, he's not bringing it that country males should be doing for the audience. He got beat by Brayden and Bodie already, and I feel like Kate was just behind him in that IS. If she had picked a better known song(like The Climb) then Bryce would probably be on his way home. I think he can still make the Finale, but its going to be tough if he keeps performing at his Playoffs level. He'll survive at least a week against others below him though, unless if he massively flops, although they would also have to drastically improve(by audience standards)

 

7. Omar - I start throwing darts more or less here, but going with Omar, yes he's polarizing, but he also has enough people who like his style of singing. Classic rock hits and doing somewhat well so far, he can go off the rails though, at this moment he's on borrowed time I think. In an IS, I'm not sure if he would win, even others below him could get the right song and knock him out. 

 

8. Rowan - Blake's CS, she's a teen girl, but hasn't made much strides with the audience. She has improved since her audition, but Rowan still has more to give, she's someone who needs a ballad to really showcase her voice, once that happens I could see her getting more support. I think she can survive a week, but she needs to nail it since I think she's the weakest on Blake's team.

 

9. Kim - Honestly, I could see her moving up, but so far her song choices have been meh. She's clearly a great vocalist, if this was another season she could have had an easy pass to the Finale, but so far John's other members have gotten more support. In an IS she will most likely win against anybody except a selected few. I can see her in the Semis though(so plz don't attack me Kim fans lol)

 

10. Kique - I think with the right song choice he can be moved up, but right now I see the others getting more potential support. Although maybe I'm underestimating him, I just don't have much faith in him right now.

 

11. Devix - I think his PV was because the other two of Camila's members weren't well received, I think he struggles against the other teams. But he's definitely above the final two, and proves that he is a decent vocalist.

 

12. Alyssa - She isn't cut out for this, if I was Gwen I would have cut her for her own good. She's clearly in her head too much and is looking like she's gonna have a panic attack on the stage. If she gets a ballad, I can see her getting emotional for this week, but can she stay on pitch? Good luck to her tbh.

 

13. Eric - Coin toss between the last two, but Eric hasn't existed in TPTB's mind for his pre-live solo performances. He's the opposite of Minivan bait, and even if he slays a ballad this week, the audience will likely forget about him once he steps off the stage. Although I hope he goes out on the most dramatic note, because he is hilarious and deserves points for stage presence.(Can he perform drag plz? I want Minivan to seeth)

 

Any of the Top 4 can win, it depends on next coming weeks and song choices.

 

Justin and Bryce I see fighting for the 5th spot.

1. Morgan - Of those with a chance to win, she’s the best, most versatile  singer. Having said that, she has a smaller margin of error than the next two below her, due to expectations. She could just as easily be singing for the instant save if things don’t go perfectly. 
2. Parijita - She seems to be the current betting favorite to win. She very well could, but there are a lot of performances remaining. 
3. Bodie - He’s Team Blake’s best bet to win. 
4. Brayden - He can make the finale, but his vocal limitations will prevent him from winning. 
5. Bryce - He could easily be Blake’s 3rd finalist, depending on his performances over the next few weeks. 
6. Kim - You don’t want to face her in the instant save. 
7. Omar - He may be getting more votes than we think, but he’s clearly the most polarizing contestant in the top 13. 

8. Justin - Gwen’s frontrunner. He could make the finale via instant save.
9. Rowan - Blake’s support could get her through to the top 8, but things are getting tight at this point. 
10: Kique - I don’t think he’s catching on with the audience. 
11. Devix - If there’s anyone I may be underrating, it’s him. We’ll see.

One of the harder seasons to do power ranking imo.

Tier 1 (Very likely to be in the finale) : Morgan, Brayden, Parijita, Bodie
Tier 2 (They have potential to be in the finale) : Bryce, Kim
Tier 3 (Top 8 are mostly their ceiling, slim chance to be in the finale) : Justin, Rowan, Devix, Omar, Kique
Tier 4 : Alyssa and Eric

I feel like Justin has a better shot than Bryce at making finale now. They're gonna treat him way better and give him way better song choices. Also helps that he's 10x the vocalist. I can't see Brayden winning doing just what he does so I'll move him down a couple spots.

At least I got the bottom 4 right. Who knows on the rest. Feels like it’s up for grabs.
