FloorWax
With "the place where IDF's hopes for the season die" aka The Playoffs right around the corner, I wanted to get an impression of how IDF felt about this season's Top 16 after Knockouts. From the "Rank The Top 16" thread, I used a point system wherein a 1st place = 16 points, 2nd place = 15 points, and so on. A total of 25 rankings were taken into account. Without further ado, here are the results: Overall Ranking: 1. Parijita Bastola - 346 pts 2. Kim Cruse - 314 pts 3. Morgan Myles - 293 pts 4. bodie - 290 pts 5. Kique - 275 pts 6. Justin Aaron - 250 pts 7. Omar Jose Cardona - 240 pts 8. Devix - 221 pts 9. Kate Kalvach - 213 pts 10. Rowan Grace - 191 pts 11. Eric Who - 174 pts 12. Sasha Hurtado - 159 pts 13. Kevin Hawkins - 146 pts 14. Alyssa Witrado - 118 pts 15. Bryce Leatherwood - 101 pts 16. Brayden Lape - 72 pts Number of times ranked no. 1: Morgan: 6 Parijita: 6 Kim: 5 bodie: 3 Omar: 3 Kique: 2 Number of times ranked no. 16: Brayden: 13 Bryce: 7 Alyssa: 1 Kevin: 1 Omar: 1 Rowan: 1 Sasha: 1 Number of times ranked in the Top 3: Parijita: 14 Morgan: 12 Kim: 11 Justin: 7 Kique: 7 Omar: 7 bodie: 6 Devix: 4 Eric: 2 Rowan: 2 Bryce: 1 Kate: 1 Kevin: 1 Edited November 13, 2022 by FloorWax

FloorWax
I have to say, congrats to Eric Who for beating out 5 people despite having only ONE full performance shown. Imagine how much higher up he'd be if his KO was shown in full.
Misirlou
We have the standard IDF bottom two here, Team Blakers, country/(country adjacent in the case of Brayden) white guys who have a good shot of being Blake´s top 2. (I´m still pulling for Bodie to sneak in there though). It was clear Parijita would be the favorite, even though I have seen her stats lowering in her last two performances, her audition has still been enough to carry her to victory. Morgan and Kim are also IDF darlings, so, no surprise seeing them following her. Bodie is this season´s Corey Ward/Noah Mac/Sid Kingsley, AKA the male snowflake of IDF this season it seems. Kique´s KO likely won him more support. I don´t think he would have been as high just with his blind and battle. Another guy IDF seems to dig. Alyssa is the type of contestant that IDF tends to love, but seems she hasn´t clicked here. As far as R&B guys go, they tend to be pretty ignored sans Cam Anthony and maybe Paris from last season, but Justin seems to be pretty well liked here. I imagine Kevin would have a similar reception if his performances after his blind were more well recieved. Eric is funny, I´m sure a lot of people here dig his style, and he´s mysterious (due to the montages). That tends to attract people, believe it or not. I´ve seen Omar get mixed comments here, but he keeps doing well in polls and held his own here. Some supporters might not be as vocal. But good for him since he he´s the type of contestant that tends to be polarizing here.

Definitely the most polarizing. he's pretty high up on a good amount of lists but quite a few have him in their bottom 5 or so. He's also the only contestant to have both a first place and a last place ranking.
ikwonic
Brayden deserves better tbh. His Battle and KO were better than I remembered after rewatching. I think his battle and KO were both significantly better than Bryce's battle and KO at the very least. I'd have him closer to 13 or 14 since I don't think he's the worst. Love the Parijita love. I hate the whole "omg she's only x years old" thing, but I think it has to be said for her. It's AMAZING for someone that young to be so unanimously loved. Also love the representation she brings to the show!
Hsamid
Yeah a bit surprised at Omar's rankings. In the individual rounds polls I've done, he's the only contestant other than Morgan to come close winning all 3. He has the most votes for best battle, and is in top 3 for KO and Blind believe it or not.

The active users on MJS used to hate him and called his semifinal performance the biggest pandering of all time. Guess what? he still won the polls! You might find it shocking but the gap during the playoffs was huge. He got more than 40% of the votes in the playoffs, while T-storm got only 14%.
