Why is The Voice more popular than American Idol on a site called Idolforums?

 Even Tom (admin) was wondering when the Voice became more popular here, I think it's been a lot of years since it kind of gradually switched

I think it was 2013. Idol Season 12? vs The Voice Season 4 (vs X Factor 3). That's when many Idol watchers and casual viewers started checking out The Voice and most of them stayed around. More and more people followed The Voice since then.

The voice has never deviated from what they are. A show for celebs with an opening act of some talented artists. American idol used to give honest feedback to contestants and invested in contestants but totally jumped the shark after Simon left
