Too many to try to make a good guess. She even covers a lot of songs that could be belting a "yeah".

We assume rock will be the genre though, although if its her first country song on the show then I wouldn't be surprised. Woman can sing it all.

Morgan's clip makes me think of a high-energy, upbeat song. She does have a 5-octave range, so if she wants to show that off....... "Dream On" ??? I know it's a bit of a stretch but I feel like that song's energy would fit with what we saw.

Good luck. I thought it was as simple as pulling up her YouTube channel to check for covers, until I found this 2 hour long live stream of one of her shows. She played this game with the audience where she starts to sing a cover, to see who in the audience can guess the song and artist first. It was a lot of songs, of all different genres. It literally could be anything.

I've seen that and other similar videos ...I'm always left wondering how her vocal cords are not a bleeding wreck.   We've seen plenty contestants blow out their vocal cords after shredding one too many songs (eg: Chloe) but I have no worries about Morgan.

Also, Morgan is very emotive and energetic when she sings...so...for all I know...if Morgan's feeling it... that hair flip could come from Mary Had A Little Lamb.   🤪

- House of the Rising Sun

- Whipping Post ❓

Yes pls pls this suits her voice a lot
Or maybe she could do some Janis Joplin too (Cry Baby) (based on istersay's GIF I think maybe she will whip her hair when she sings the word "cry")

(Whipping Post is interesting too)

Critique from a source:
-Morgan was "epic" and can hit really high notes. The coaches liked her voice overall but did critique her body/arm movements because they were distracting from the performance a lot.

Maybe Stay with me by Faces?

It's a big song, has country-rock influences, and seems to fit why Morgan is moving around alot

Gotta bet on that and Cry Baby

Hold up, this mentioning of "Cry Baby" just made me listen to Alisan Porter's version for the first time and holy s***, what a way to make an impression on the first lives show.

To be honest, I don't think Morgan should sing Cry Baby, but maybe that's just me.

A few weeks ago, when describing her style in an interview, she mentioned Chris Stapleton. A female version of Chris. It’s hard to know whether that helps to guess her song, but it’s worth keeping in mind. This is her most recent cover uploaded to her YT channel.
