These are literally perfect, if anyone should cover Fleet Foxes and Regina Spektor respectively, it's these two.

Especially Kate with Regina, that makes too much sense!

I want him to avoid that one so bad, because it´s possible. He can pull it off, but the song is so cheesy and overdone.

I completely agree with the sentiment. In fact, the only good performance I remember of the song was Terry Mcdermott back in season 3. However, I do think the one thing I am missing from Omar is his emotional depth in his voice. Yes, he can sing the whole great American Songbook, but I feel more emotionally invested in other male performers. A strong performance of a song like this would firmly supplant Omar in my mind as a true contender instead of just a fantastic singer.

You are gonna be eaten alive for saying this🥲

Agreed with what you say, tho. It would be nice to listen to a more emotional side of Omar. He is a great vocalist, but it would be nice to listen a more vulnerable side of him. He is gonna need that emotional connection to win the audience over.

Highkey I wouldn't even put Terry in the top 4 best versions of the song on the show but I appreciate the opinion!

That being said, I'm down for another version of the song that's a bit more faithful to the original. Omar's definitely the guy that could pull it off the best from this season.
