It's back again for season 31! Last season saw JoJo & Jenna become the overwhelming IDF favorites, ranking 1st every single week. Who will rise to the top of the rankings this time? Which pre-season favorite will fall in the rankings as the weeks go by? Which couple will be the perpetual last placers?

 

Pre-Season Rankings are due by 8:00 PM EST on September 19th.

-Please include all 15 couples in your ranking.

1. Daniel & Britt - Britt's amazing, Daniel's sweet and hot, their story is great, their dynamic seem strong, what more can you want?

2. Shangela & Gleb - Gleb already seems like a million times more invested in this season than he has every other season. Hope he can step up to the plate here because I'm really adoring their partnership so far.

3. Jordin & Brandon - I have a bad gut feeling they're gonna be a shock early boot. Really hope I'm wrong.

4. Selma & Sasha - Selma is a legend and if the DWTS audience disrespects her by booting her first I will never forgive them.

5. Vinny & Koko - He was not on my radar at all, but I'm kinda adoring all the clips I'm seeing of them. Like the chemistry...whew!

6. Wayne & Witney - It's Wayne Brady! Of course I stan! Though I fear he may be boringly dominant and I'll turn on him within a month

7. Teresa & Pasha - I usually like the Housewives on this show, they bring the mess.

8. Cheryl & Louis - She seems nice and I'm glad to see Louis back! I'm sure I'll enjoy the three weeks max we get with her.

9. Trevor & Emma - I was stalking his Insta and there's something there that's kind of unhinged, I can't quite put my finger on, but I want to see more.

10. Heidi & Artem - Mainly this high for Artem, and hoping she can provide messy stage mom energy.

11. Joseph & Daniella - Mainly this high for Daniella, I keep forgetting he's on the show lol.

12. Charli & Mark - I'm already feeling them shoved down my throat.

13. Jason & Peta - No for real, I genuinely keep forgetting this guy's on the show. But I realized I do know him, shoutout to Brothers & Sisters season one!!!

14. Sam & Cheryl - I've literally got nothing.

15. Gabby & Val - When B*chelor finally gets cancelled and I don't have to suffer through another one of their "stars" on this show >>>>>>>>>

16. Jessie & Alan - Lol all the tea on her just seems terrible, but without that. She just seems like a charisma vacuum. She's not giving anything during this preseason.

Might as well do some pre-season comments, which I wasn't expecting to do. But should be fun!  

 

1. Jordin & Brandon - Loved and have stanned Jordin since Idol and still do now.  
2. Wayne & Witney - Have also loved and been a fan of Wayne's for years. I'm hoping he lives up to the high expectations.
3. Shangela & Gleb - Well Shangela is (probably) my favorite Drag Race alum in its franchise, so of course Shangela be ranked high for me.
4. Gabby & Val - Ooof, I didn't expect Gabby to rank so high and I just realized I'm only really crazy about my Top 3. But I've grown to like Gabby more through The Bachelorette, so I'm interested in seeing how she does.
5. Charli & Mark - I def known about her since Tiktok blew up and know of her dance background, but I don't really know her that well. I'm still excited to see what she and Mark can do. I'm also hoping she can raise to the high expectations as she seems to be hiding her dance skills in these pre-season little dance clips.
6. Jessie & Alan - Yeah I know there's lots of bad stuff about her and I don't even know the half of it, but I've always really liked her before that, so she ranks high for now.  If her dancing is good, I'll still want to see her do well.
7. Teresa & Pasha - I'm just here for the fun mess she's gonna bring to the show. I'm sure her actual dancing will bring her lower.
8. Selma & Sasha - Selma is such an unexpected but inspiring casting choice for this show. I'm not a huge fan but I've always liked her and look forward to her.
9. Vinny & Koko - I always liked and found Vinny fun, so that's enough to rank him higher and be one of the higher ranked guys for me.
10. Daniel & Britt - I don't know Daniel but am intrigued to see how he does. There's lots of buzz on him here and I can see him growing on me in the weeks to come.
11. Trevor & Emma - He's someone I've known of/remember for years despite not really watching anything of his? Or maybe I have but forgot. Don't have a big opinion but looking to see what he can do.
12. Joseph & Daniella - I know him as Arnold's son and what I've seen/know of him from the past, I don't mind him as he comes across well. So that's good enough for this spot.
13. Sam & Cheryl - He's mainly this high as I know and like him on GMA.  I don't feel right putting him below people I don't know. I'm sure his dancing will bring him lower.
14. Heidi & Artem - I'm hoping for stage mom energy from her too but I literally knew nothing of her until she was casted here with Charli, lmao.
15. Jason & Peta - I vaguely remember him in Sex and the City clips from over the years even though I don't watch that show and don't really know him. But I feel I know of him/his name more than the celeb above and below him.
16. Cheryl & Louis - Ugh I hate putting Cheryl last and I don't really know why she's here. I know she's a legend, but I guess I just don't really know anything at all about her?

1. Shangela & Gleb - At one point my favorite Drag Race alum and definitely still in my top 5. This is major and like Alex said, Gleb does seem to be having a lot of fun this season, I hope he goes all in.

2. Jordin & Brandon - Icon and seems to be having lots of fun, hope this can be the partnership that gets Brandon past ninth place (a crime that he hasn't got there yet).

3. Wayne & Witney - He just seems like an on-paper winner from the off.. he's so good at everything he does! Think this will be a really fun partnership.

4. Daniel & Britt - Loving their partnership already and hope Britt has a great year.

5. Vinny & Koko - Yeah they seem like a lot of fun. Also weren't on my radar too much but I'm excited to see what Koko brings!

6. Gabby & Val - Don't know a lot about her but she seems fun from what I've seen. Hope we get to see a creative side of Val this year.

7. Heidi & Artem - Her soundbites were kinda giving me nothing but she also looks pretty good and I think she could maybe even hold her own against Charli.

8. Joseph & Daniella - Enjoying their partnership already. Hope Daniella manages to surprise us with her partner once again.

9. Teresa & Pasha - Icon, my expectations for Teresa aren't too high but I think Pasha will be a good partner for her.

10. Charli & Mark - Not getting a lot from her soundbites yet either, but she looks (unsurprisingly) very good in the little clips we've seen and I can't wait to see what Mark has in store.

11. Selma & Sasha - Think she's going to be inspiring to watch and I hope she has a great experience.

12. Cheryl & Louis - I hope she can survive night one as I feel like she could be a nice ballroom dancer! Seems like a nice partnership.

13. Jason & Peta - Not sure what to expect here, but hope Peta has a good season.

14. Trevor & Emma - Can't help but feel like they've shafted him with a Quickstep in this first week and probably not one of the bigger fanbases, but hope he proves me wrong.

15. Jessie & Alan - I can't help but think she's probably been an alternate for this show forever lmao. Like it seems strange to me it took this long for her to get on this show. If she wasn't so problematic I think there could have been something entertaining there, but I'm not feeling it yet.

16. Sam & Cheryl - Just a little forgetful for me at this moment, but he and Cheryl seem like a nice match.

Pre-season ranking :

 

1. Shangela & Gleb: I doubt that Shangela will win but maybe the move to Disney+ could give her a leg up compare to ABC ? Anyway, I am looking forward to this partnership and how Shangela will probably push Gleb to be creative with his choreography.
2. Daniel & Britt : Like Alex mentioned, their chemistry is off the chart and it will only results in giving us good routine. One of the celebrity that I am looking forward to as I fell in love with him in CODA. 
3. Jordin & Brandon: Jordin about to make sure Brandon gets the respect and recognition he deserves.
4. Selma & Sasha : I was so happy & excited to see Selma being part of the cast. And like Alex, if she's a first boot or early boot, I will never forgive the audience.
5. Gabby & Val: I have a feeling that Gabby will be following in Hannah & Kaitlyn footstep and become a front runner. 
6. Wayne & Witney : My winner's pick, and I just know that he will impress us all - he was in Kinky Boots after all! 
7. Vinny & Koko : Vinny about to bring his Magic Mike Live experience to work! And so excited to see Koko as a pro!
8. Teresa & Pasha : Icon & like Lily, I don't expect much but she's an housewife so I must stan.
9. Charli & Mark : Probably one of TCO but I need to see more. 
10. Heidia & Artem : Imagine her outlasting Charli... It'd be iconic tbh  
11. Joseph & Daniella : He seems very excited to be part of it and be with the reigning winner. Of course, we will be getting some TOP NOTCH choreo!
12. Trevor & Emma : I am getting some oldschool DWTS with him and I am here for it.
13. Jason & Peta : Indifferent on him.
14. CHeryl & Louis: Indifferent but happy to see Louis is back!
15. Sam & Cheryl : probably the first boot.
16. Jessie & Alan : I have a doubt that she'll be a good dancer and she's with Alan whom I love but ugh, I just cannot bring myself to root for her.

1. Shangela & Gleb (+1) - Shangela is as iconic as I've heard. Gleb is in his fan favorite era. I'm so used to giving and now I get to receive!

2. Daniel & Britt (-1) - Whew, they looked hot af together!

3. Selma & Sasha (+1) - The casuals are eating her up...she may be here to stay

4. Jordin & Brandon (-1) - Starting off in middle-of-the-road, Jordin is copying her American Idol winning strategy already

5. Wayne & Witney (+1) - When he started crying about his grandmother I started getting emotional

6. Teresa & Pasha (+1) - Starting off her intro package with "I was in jail " and thinking it would appeal to DWTS voters

7. Trevor & Emma (+2) - Idk why I'm so intrigued by him, but that Quickstep was unhinged and I'm obsessed.

Week 1:

1. Charli & Mark - my goodness! That Cha Cha was straight fire!! I've been telling everyone I know to go and watch it because Charli slayed  She exceeded my expectations and I just loved every moment of it! 

2. Gabby & Val - Gabby has my heart  such a complete sweetheart  her Jive was great as well and dancing to "As It Was"? A SLAY! I am obsessed with that song! 

3. Selma & Sasha - Oh my goodness, this performance brought me to tears. Just such a beautiful dance. Super proud of her .

4. Shangela & Gleb - YUP! Shangela ATE! I feel she deserved some 8's to be honest, a slay.

5. Heidi & Artem - Heidi looked HOT AS HELL! I was a little underwhelmed with her dance overall as I did expect a bit more but not bad for her first dance!

6. Jordin & Brandon - Jordin is winning me over!! I was in complete awe of her throughout the episode - her energy is just infectious and her support of the other celebs is so adorbs.

7. Wayne & Witney - I am in the minority here who have never heard of Wayne Brady but man, what a first introduction! Absolutely love him!

8. Vinny & Koko - Is this mainly a high ranking for Koko? Why, yes it is! But, shame I felt bad for Vinny when the judges were critiquing him but hopefully he does better next week!

9. Daniel & Britt - Daniel is a complete sweetheart  He did a great dance with Britt and I have high hopes for him! 

10. Cheryl & Louis - I should've known better than to underestimate her, I had a feeling she could surprise us. It's crazy she's 71, the woman needs to share her skincare routine!! 

11. Teresa & Pasha - Poor Pasha keeps getting these partners, he needs a break! Give him a good partner for once!

12. Joseph & Daniella - Joseph has really nice muscles that kept my eyes entertained. He also did a good Jive and I can see him improving.

13. Jessie & Alan - Jessie! She was so forgettable...I was disappointed ngl. 

14. Jason & Peta - Aw, Jason. Didn't expect him to the be the first boot at all. He is a nice guy and handled it like a champ. Hopefully Peta trains him for his wedding dance!

15. Sam & Cheryl - Sam really needs to do something to stand out because right now I forget he's around.

16. Trevor & Emma - who? I literally just watched the episode and I had to go back to wikipedia to remember his dance and turns out he's the one who danced to "Dancing with Myself" a song that is a BOP! I just can't remember his dance at all lol.
