His single didn't officially impact until last week. However, prior it to being released to radio it was already certified gold. The song has already reached Top 15 on the Hot 100 (all-genre) chart due to his streaming/sales. The single has already reached #44 on Billboard Country Airplay. It's currently averaging 15+ million weekly streams. He also has the best selling first week country album this year with more than 70K+ partly because his main audience is under 30 & usually streams 24/7. In the last few years, if a song (even by a non-A-lister) has an extreme amount of buzz, sales, & streams usually they climb quickly up the charts. Currently, some of the singles doing that have that are Kane & Katelyn (Top 10 iTunes all-genre since release, 6+ million weekly streams), HARDY & Lainey Wilson (Top 10 iTunes all-genre since release), & Bailey Zimmerman (since release about 10 million weekly streams). All of these songs are moving fast up the charts. The music industry in the last few years has used DSP's (streaming, digital retailers, etc.) according to All Access including the country genre to gauge who or what to play.
