The Dryes are BY FAR the most popular act on Facebook tonight. I didn’t read the comments. Just basing it on views and likes. There isn’t really a β€œsecond place.”

Iconic song, country act, and in a way the husband/wife dynamic could appeal to the demo.Β

Β

I assume there must be the usual "ItΒ΄s the voice, not the voices" comments, but IΒ΄m not even gonna check. IΒ΄m distancing myself from FB this season.

Since they didn’t make the lives, it’s inconsequential. That’s why I’m not bothering to reading those comments.Β

It seems odd that TPTB didn't craft a strong third episode or highlight Kim, a 4-chair who makes the lives on her original team.Β Instead, we got both an opener/leak and a closer that lost in the knockout round.Β πŸ€”

Β

Andrew turned four chairs, chose Camila, and lost to Devix in the knockouts.

Β

Morgan Taylor also turned four chairs, chose John, and lost to Omar in the knockouts.

Β

Barring coach comebacks, the only person from tonight who makes it past the knockout round is 18-year-old Sasha. John and Camila turned, and she picked Camila. According to spoilers, she is stolen by Gwen after losing her battle to Devix. Then Alyssa wins the 3-way knockout against Sasha and Daysia. John uses his steal for Sasha, after first attempting to steal Kate.

Β

So John eventually gets the only contestant from this episode to make the lives. But she'll probably be slightly disadvantaged by being on a team where everyone else turned four chairs and by being a double steal who has been on three different teams. Could this episode end up strengthening Devix and Omar somewhat?

oh alright, so all knockout spoilers tend to be accurate according to your sources right?

Not necessarily but we did got some double confirmation for the results of that taping. Song picks, official comments and coach feedback, etc. are a bit up in the air but still.

We got 8 live contestants on the first week.

Β

This week is much slower. We only got 1 contestant tonight and likely 2 tomorrow.

Β

Next week weΒ΄ll get 5.Β

Β

I suppose they thought it was the most "even" way to spread it since thereΒ΄s a lot of contestants that auditioned for this season and yet so few that actually made lives.

I personally thought this episode was fantastic.Β

I enjoyed the episode, and it included my two pre-season favorites. But the third episode often features a contender, and this one evidently didn't do that.

TBH the most thing I like most about this season especially those who made lives are all underdogs except for Morgan and Kim, obviously. Everyone else though has been not noticed as well and are all people who will be underestimated until their breakout moments happen. I’m expecting all those moments to happen in the battles or knock-outs for each person in the Top 16. This season is the season for the underdogs, and I love it!

I wouldn’t consider Bryce an underdog. Honestly, the two adult females you mentioned are the underdogs, given the voting history of the audience. Bryce is the obvious frontrunner.Β
Β

Kim’s auditioned hasn’t even aired yet.Β

It seems strange they are holding out Kim.

Β

Either TPTB wants to even the playing field on John's team, or they actually want another team member of his to be his frontrunner. Why have Omar on the Premiere, and Sasha(KO Steal) on the 3rd episode? With Sasha also being the only Live Show contestant?

Β

Meh, TPTB is being a bit weird this season. Even Gwen's likely frontrunner in Kique is in the shadows still.

Β

Or I guess its all for the Bryce Vs Morgan showdown that they are cooking up(throw other teams' artists who could even have a small chance, to the sidelines for good measure)

Just a quick glance, but of those who made the lives, Morgan, Bryce, Brayden and Omar have received the best reaction on Facebook so far. Kevin and Devix are next, but a notch below. I think at least 3 of the first 4 I listed are shoe-ins to survive the first PV. Kevin too, probably. After that, it gets a little dicey.Β
