Best and Worst Blinds Episode of Season 21 and Ranking

Vote for the best blinds episode of season 21, and rank the episodes.

 

For me, from best to worst:

None of the episodes were bad though. The top 4 were all very enjoyable for me, and the bottom 2 just didn’t have as many of my favorites.

For the premiere i didnt care for anyone except Wendy

I’d say it was better than both season 18 and season 19 and on-par with season 16 as far as premieres go.

 

To clarify: I think the premiere is underrated because it wasn’t quite as strong as the season 20 premiere. But it was very solid: GNT and Wendy gave some of my favorite auditions in the past few seasons, and the rest were really good. I find myself relistening to several of the auditions that night, like Katie, Peedy, and Jack because of how good they were.

The thing is, they decided to stack the premiere with mostly people that didnt make lives, so that also contributed to the lack of enthusiasm of the forum (for those that checked spoilers).

The funny thing is both of you are sort of right as we originally thought only 3 people made lives: GNT, Peedy, and Wendy. As a result, the artists in the premiere didn’t make sense. But then, information about the comeback artists came out, and Vaughn was selected as the candidate for Team Ariana. At the same time, we found out Katie Rae made lives, albeit on team Kelly, so 4 people had made lives, and then when Vaughn was selected as the comeback artists, that brought the total number of artists in the premiere who made the lives up to 5.

 

If I were to have chosen the premiere lineup, it would have looked something like this:

Girl Named Tom

Katie Rae

Peedy Chavis

Jonathan Mouton

Gracie Nourbash

Katherine Ann Mohler

Paris Winningham

Kinsey Rose

Bella DeNapoli

Bubba

Wendy Moten

 

In this lineup, six artists made the lives instead of just five.

We’ve talked a fair amount about episode 1, and it seems the general consensus is that GNT and Wendy were the standouts, and everyone else appealed to certain people here.

 

I’m curious as to why episodes 1 and 6 are tied for the worst episode though, as both were solid. In particular, episode 6. I thought episodes 3 and 4 were worse.

About episode 6, KCK3 were terrible, Aaron was average and i don't get the appeal over Tommy, sorry. Parker was good but she was definitely better in the battles. 

 

Shadale was the standout of the episode and that's it

I respectfully disagree. KCK3 had messy moments, but they weren’t terrible and they had good moments as well. I liked Aaron’s and Parker’s auditions and thought they displayed easy-to-listen-to tones. Tommy’s audition was great. I listen to it on repeat.

 

I do agree with you about Shadale in the sense that she was the best of the episode.

1) Episode 2: Samuel, Paris, Joshua, Gymani, Jim and Sasha, Lana, Carolina (every audition was solid in this ep)

2) Episode 3: Hailey, Jeremy, Keliah, and Holly had rly good auditions, Raquel was solid as well

3) Episode 5: Ryleigh, Jershika, LiBianca, Brittany, the bit we heard of Xavier

4) Episode 6: Aaron, Parker, Shadale

5) Episode 4: Bella, David, TCS

6) Episode 1: Vaughn, GNT, Wendy

I actually agree with most of your choices, but I really liked Samara in episode 3, Tommy in episode 6, and I liked all of the chair turners in the premiere to some extent, even the ones I didn’t like as much initially (like Katie, Peedy, and Vaughn).
