SYTYCD Superlatives (Best All Star Duet - Round 2)

We have had full rankdowns to find the best individual contestant, and we have an awesome Mini-Rankdown going on to find the best routines. But there's still so much that we can argue about! What is the best season? Who is the best judge? What season has the best Top 5 girls? What is the best featured audition solo? You could go on forever.

 

This is a new series of mini-rankdowns that will have a different prompt for every round. And just like with the TV Characters rankdown or the Musician Discography rankdown, each ranker will get to choose any prompt that they want to see. You can be as general or as specific as you want (within reason lol), include whatever countries you want, or even choose to find the WORST of something instead of the best. We'll start by giving everyone one choice for the round prompt, and see how we feel after playing a bit. And you can switch your choice as often as you want until we begin it.  

 

Because this is a mini-rankdown, the time commitment is shorter and there are no big write-up requirements. You may choose to join as many or as few rounds as you want. Sign-ups will happen at the beginning of each round.

I’ll start by choosing the first round: the best couple! And my definition of “couple” is going to be any 2 contestants that have been duet partners for two separate competitive weeks in a season before the performance finale episode, from any country.

 

Right now I’m thinking that the first round round won’t officially start until we reach the finale for Season 17, so you have plenty of time to brainstorm what prompt you want to see. If there’s a prompt that seems like it could be done before Season 17 ends, we may just do that one first instead.
