Rate the 1 Chair Turns of 2021 (solely on auditions). Didn't include the montages because we only saw like 10 seconds and I needed to limit this to 15 lol

Savanna Chesnut is my pick on the poll. As much as i love Rachel, her audition had a lot of pitchy issues (I still liked it tho)

Halley Greg is my top pick, with David Vogel being a close second. That being said, most of the one-chairs from the past 2 seasons have been at least solid.

The only ones that were messy were Rachel and KCK3 imo, and even KCK3 had some good moments. 

 

EDIT: JD was also kind of messy (although he did well in his battle).

EDIT: JD was also kind of messy (although he did well in his battle).

I thought Rachel, KCK3, JD, Hailey, and Ainae were messy, while Ethan, Devan, Andrew, and Rio were fine, but boring. I think that Parker and Savannah had nice performances and I admire their unique arrangements, but neither of them are really my style.

I beg to differ. Not a fan of Kenzie, but he totally outsang JD, it was a very one sided battle.

I actually really liked Hailey, Ainae, and Rio but to each their own

Kenzie outsang him but I still think JD did a pretty solid job

Even though I picked Hailey Green, I liked Rachel Mac’s blind audition as well.

 

I know both were montaged, but I would add Berritt Haynes and Clint Sherman to my list, because I am friends with both of them on social media, along with Hailey Green.
