It's pretty easy to map out who would get eliminated first, but it's super tough to decide who would've won out of these groups, since none of them were really clear winners or anything. I ended up just picking who I thought Minivan would gravitate to most.

12. Riley Biederer (not enough hype going into the top 12 and she probably wouldn't be given a song that would propel her further)

11. Chance Peña (in a stacked season like this, he wouldn't have last long really)

10. Nadjah Nicole (her style would've eliminated her before this, but Blake would provide a cushion for until about this point)

9. Blaine Mitchell (seems to be someone that would have enough casual support, but might get lost at this point)

 

Bloodbath

8. Celeste Betton (Pharrell built up some hype for her that I think would save her for a bit, but it ends about here)

7. Regina Love (big vocalist that would probably get hated on for her screaming, but as long as she doesn't get Hello'd again, I could see her up here)

 

IS:

6. Ivonne Acero (Blake again. Her growth on the show was massive and she had the story going for her. I can see her doing the sing-off)

5. Keith Semple (classic rock probably wouldn't go as far but his aesthetic is much less harsh/more agreeable than Adam Pearce. I think he could've gone to semis.)

4. Viktor Kiraly (probably one of the most polished of the season and he can clearly sing. And obviously he's handsome. A lot working in his favor here.)

 

3. Ellie Lawrence (I felt like America might've actually embraced this one a bit more than other indie/alt rock acts before. Also @ Ellie if for some reason you ever see this please start making music again your kids need to hear how amazingly gifted you are)

2. Morgan Frazier (She's a much stronger performer than Emily Ann. Just avoid Lips of An Angel and other bussings.)

1. Darius Scott (NOW HEAR ME OUT. This man's insane and among the most robbed of all time. Given the lineup of this supposed top 12 though, I feel like he stands out enough and can outsing so many others. Just give this man the opportunity to shine. Shoutout to him for his Oscar nomination though!)

 

But damn I genuinely liked everyone in this top 12 lol

In this scenario, Corey and Pete would have likely been the Top 2 of S20 (AKA @Teraginn's dream), and whoever performed better would have won. And that'd have been a great Top 2, if we're being honest.

i feel like regina would've been who we would considered "robbed" in the top 11 and chance would beat her in the IS as a Ryan Sill like artist
