Plenty of reasons why this hits home, the last one still feels fresh, and there's another just on the horizon only months from now. Great tune, but man does it ever cut deep. We are blessed with great event venues but there isn't a spot to stand here where you don't feel a more intimate connection with the artist. Last night was Scotty McCreery (@scottymccreery), the amazing country artist who started as an American Idol contestant and now has an incredibly successful music career and following. I always think it is a lot of fun when the band grabs me and asks for something above and beyond what is generally allowed for a house photographer, like a stage shot with the crowd. I love doing it and I'll take the opportunity every time. Two great opening acts performed as well but they deserve their own post!
