Chris: For the longest time, Maren was not getting the recognition that she was getting but this song certainly changed it, especially considering all the praise it receives. Personally speaking, I am a huge fan of this one - this is Maren at her best, in my opinion. I would also like to take the occasion to tell everyone to check out her duet with Hozier on this song.

Wallace: Even though this isn't my #1, Maren's "The Bones" is the song I am backing and hoping can win this round. Although it might not as I ranked some of the other winner contenders quite high too, lmao. This is a really beautiful and stunning song from Maren. I really like the chill laid back feel this song has. She sounds great and really sings from her heart here. This song was not only a country hit, but it crossedover to the Top 40 Pop charts, so that was how I became familiar and grew to love this song.  I love the chorus and how she sings that. Although I love how she sings the song as a whole, especially with how she builds and belts this out towards the end.

QK: I love Maren but this song is definitely not a favorite of mine. If I was to honestly rank it I probably put it at like #11 or something but I put it at 17 because I wanted other songs to win instead. Plus if a Maren song was to win I would have prefered other Maren songs to win over this one. But it doesn't matter what I want as this one won and that's fine I guess.

Yayy, very pleased to see "The Bones" win as I do really love that song from Maren! Nice to see so many #2 rankings for it, alongside a #1 and #3 ranking. 😄

Ugh I will say these lists are tricky because some of these songs more 2018 to me, but I don't know if to support them for 2019 as they may not be on the 2018 list. :dead:

It's different than how Steven does it. If they are on the 2019 list they won't be on the 2018 list.

Nothing in the top 4 at least. I was guessing Ingrid was your #1 so I was hoping you would put the bones lower then you did so Ingrid would win but that didn't happen :(

If I would have know. Should have given me a hint :giggle:

LMAO I remember your comments alluding to something of Chris in hopes of the results changing. That made me think "I Hope" was in it with a winning chance. But now I see that was in reference to "The Bones." :lmao:

Both have been obvious to me too :dead:

Ahh that makes sense. I never want to get to confident of the song I want to win to guess it winning just to let myself down. :dead:
