A band that I feel should have more songs tackled on the show. There´s a lot of good material on their arsenal for rockers and blues artists. There´s stuff for country singers as well. A lot of great songs that could make for great performances if tackled right.

I originally voted for the Sarah Simmons performance but I just watched the Gimme Shelter battle and it blew me away. That would be my vote.

This is tough. We have one of my all-time favorite battles (Hannah vs Sarah) against one of my favorite KOs (Sarah S) You can't go wrong here but I can't get sick of Sarah's head voice/rasp transitions so I went with her.

 

I would also like to mention Team Alicia's performance from S14. Might be my favorite performance from that season,

A lot of their material is probably NSFW lol, but TPTB really has to let Wild Horses, as good a song it is, go. There's "Angie", as a good ballad. We got "Paint it, Black" as another possible good vocal showcase. I'd also love for someone to try their hand at "Let it Loose" (since the Stones never performed it live), or "Sway".

Sarah S takes this for me, but Sarah P vs. Hannah is #2 on the list (and honestly is a battle that doesn’t get talked about nearly enough).

You're missing Darby Walker (S11) with Ruby Tuesday. I remember enjoying it when it came out since I really enjoyed Darby in her season and I think it was her strongest live performance on the show. That said, I'm not exactly familiar with these options (except for Kylie's) so imma take a look before voting!

Sarah Simmons. Rare to get someone with a voice like hers on this show. Love the combination of her angelic tone and hard rock raspiness.

 

Hannah and Sarah P's battle was really good, but it didn't wow me until near the end.
