Everything highlighted in yellow on the front page is now immune until there are 500 films remaining in the game. There is a slight catch I didn't let you in on. In order to give you all some incentive not to miss deadlines, three strikes won't kick you out of the game. Once you hit three missed deadlines without an excuse, the five films you nominated will automatically be nominated and one of them will be cut from the game immediately. Now, as long as you hit your deadlines, that shouldn't be a problem! We're at 1034 films right now, but I like even numbers. So let's kill 34 films off right off the bat and get us down to an even 1000. How will that be done? It's up to you all. Together, all six rankers must agree on 34 films to cut immediately. Those films will not be getting writeups, nor will they be eligible for any sort of buyback. All films that received a golden ticket are off limits. Anything else is available to be cut. All six of you must agree on the 34 cuts though. However you go about making those decisions is up to you. You can split the cuts evenly amongst you. You can randomize the whole thing. You can privately discuss them or openly discuss them in this thread. You have 48 hours starting now to make your 34 cuts. This counts as the first deadline so anyone who has been unresponsive by the time 48 hours is up will be receiving their first strike.
