Artists that should've picked another coach?

To this day, I think Bria Kelly should've picked Blake or Adam because Usher was not the right coach for her. Jej should've picked Blake, Mandi Castillo with Nick/Kelly, Allegra with Kelly, Ivonne Acero + Mendeleyev + Julia Cooper with Gwen & Raine Stern with John

Moriah would have done better with Adam or Blake (Miley had a clear T3 from the beginning and she wasn’t able to jump ship). Everyone but Miley (including Miley’s mother) wanted Moriah in the Top 12 that season

Especially with how weak his original team was. She would have done better than Adam C and Jon (and she was an experienced live performer already)

Absolutely. Davon would have probably gotten eliminated in Top 10 if Moriah went, due to his decline in Lives, and Miley got karma because she only got 1 Semifinalist (even though I was sad about Janice’s elimination)

Because it was a triple steal, I think Taylor Phelan should have picked Gwen, since Adam’s team was too stacked already. Taylor would have definitely made Top 12, as the team was much less competitive, but I’m also thinking he would have made Top 8 at least. And if he made it, IDF’s most hated contestant that season, Ryan Sill, would likely be left out, considering Gwen would have likely saved Anita if Taylor got a PV

100% agreed. Adam´s team was way too stacked that season. Going through Team Gwen would have been a cakewalk for him.

Mendeleyev should have picked Gwen or Blake. John’s team was way too stacked that season and he would have thrived more with Gwen or Blake (he could have made Top 13 on Team Blake had he chosen Blake originally).

Kelly’s S17 team was WEAK so I think he would’ve done great there.

With how stacked S17 Team Gwen is, I doubt he would stand out (unfortunately). Rose and Joana would probably still get PVs, and Myracle seems to be one of Gwen's favorite (or Kyndal if she had delivered). Max had a wonderful playoffs performance though, it's just that Gwen's team during that time going to the live rounds was kind of dangerous lol (maybe that's just me though )

I agree. Gwen had such a stacked and eclectic post-knockouts team taht covered a wide range of genres. It is unlikely that he would have made it past the playoffs on team Gwen despite having one of the best performances that night

Joana wouldn’t be there so he probably would, considering he got a PV on Team Kelly. That being said, Joana might still get a PV, assuming Kelly steals her instead

Yeah probably, Kelly's steal would've been either Joana or Zoe (she basically told her she would if she had a steal left). And there's Marina too, I don't remember the pairings order so I guess the one who went first

I always thought Megan was a frontrunner since she was country/country adjacent on Team Kelly and she was a teen and I wonder how Micah beat her in votes

I think Megan had voting potential, but going pop was her downfall. Either way, Minivan doesn´t tend to support 20 something pop guys, so if Micah, who occupies that description, was able to  beat her (and the rest of that team), that serves enough to realize how weak it was.

Yeah, and even with CammWess being on Team Legend and having a less than stellar finale night, he still managed to beat Micah.
