Are rankings due by tonight or tomorrow night?

There are a couple of movies I want to watch before submitting rankings, so I want to know if I need to get started on that now. 😅

Probably another day or two. This and Idol keep ending at the same time :dead:. But I’m doing the Idol countdown before I start this.

really like Lion. This is an incredible true story, and it was told so well here. I was captivated by the journey from beginning to end. And even though you can predict how the movie is going to end, the emotional moment at the end feels very deserved. The performances in this film were superb too, especially from Dev Patel (I'm glad he won the BAFTA for this role), Nicole Kidman, and Sunny Pawar. Although the movie has sad moments, it's uplifting too and I can't imagine someone not feeling anything by the end of the movie. It's a very touching film.

The movie's a bit paint by the numbers, but it makes me cry every time and Dev Patel is hot so I tried to keep it out of last place. On the other hand, Nicole Kidman's wig......maybe it did deserve last.

I have no strong opinions for or against this movie.

Very good film that just is not as exciting, captivating, and/or groundbreaking as all of the films above.

Ranking this last for making it over The Wailing, yes I'm bitter.

Highly recommend this movie to everyone. One of the creepiest films ever and it's like The Strangers on speed.

Kate Siegel should be cast in every horror movie/television show!!!

This is a great movie, it's just against some other great movies including better horror movies so it's a bit of a default ranking. I do have to say I love how Mike Flanagan is the ONE TRUE ALLY and is like "oh my SUPER HOT BISEXUAL WIFE? Gonna cast her in EVERYTHING." I can only hope that they work together on many more movies/tv shows. It's like the better version of Mila Jovovich and her husband when they made Resident Evil. And that sounds like faint praise but it is well known that I am a HUGE fan of those GARBAGE movies.

One of the two movies left I didn't get around to seeing. I was gonna, but then I got sick lol. I've seen all the Mike Flanagan Netflix shows and love all of them so I really do want to see it. Just elected to go with the South Korean films first so here we are...

I haven't seen this, but it doesn't look like my kind of movie.

Anna Taylor-Joy is now dating Cara Delevingne so this is now a gay movie. And it was already one of my favorite movies of all time.

The other one I didn't get around to seeing. Tbh I wasn't really rushing to see it since I didn't like The Lighthouse, but if I had more time and didn't get sick I would have tried it. It was the one on my list though.
