We certainly need someone like you, like a breathe of fresh air. I know Idol must've been super stressful for you and that they gave you undeserved less exposure, but still you did this and came back- you're so strong and I admire you girl in so many ways Raquel was someone who caught my attention in one of my least favorite seasons of Idol- which speaks a lot. I haven't really noticed her up until the Top 20 showcase rounds, where she was fully shown. Something about her movement on stage caught my attention, and the way how she sounds? she sounds like no other. Was unfortunate because I was so focused on Alyssa and Madison that time , but I have definitely kept an eye of her ever since. The thing about her voice is that it has this Amy Winehouse vibe in it that I dig in. She also has this nice and eargasmic runs! The photo used as a reference for this artwork is a screen capture from her Lovefool performance Raquel, if you're reading this, I'm so sorry if it took long enough to make you a fan thread lmao, I just wasn't sure if you're in or not . But the moment I saw you with that photo, there's no doubt I need to make one for you. I adore you lots- literally, the challenge you faced more than a year ago- breaking your legs, for sure wasn't easy. But you surpassed all of that and now, you're just showcasing your beautiful talent to shows like this. Might I add, shows that are really really stressful and full of pressure, but girl you're killing it . The courage you have is something that I need to have in my life, you're an inspiration! You are just beautiful inside and out. Your parents and friends (especially Bumbly, your friendship's the cutesttt ) surely got your back and are very proud of you right now. Idol might've not been for you, but who knows? Maybe The Voice is the one for ya As Amy Winehouse said on a quote "Life's short. Anything could happen, and it usually does, so there is no point in sitting around thinking about all the ifs, ands and buts." just do your best and give it your all- anything could literally happen, but if you just enjoy what you do and go enjoy the moment, that'll be enough You are your own artist, you are Raquel Trinidad- show them that. I've got your back and your family and friends are for sure too :))) I believe in you and I hope (and will pray) for your success on the show! Many will surely be inspired by you. The shirt is really a tie-dyed one (one with the rainbow color), while the make up is something red or gray-ish. Then her favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Sublime, and other classic rock bands - What is your songwriting process like? 1:52 - She only started writing good music when she was 16 (because of the Grammy Revolution program, where she got scholarship). Her process is just sitting and thinking about words that sound good together (the beat comes later and naturally) - What is your fashion inspiration? 3:22 - Because of her tie-dyed suit on American Idol, people became intrigued of her fashion inspiration, but she said that that tie-dyed suit was just gifted by his dad to her during the Hollywood week of Idol. His dad gave her a couple of outfits on multiple occasions that she actually liked - What's the first concert you've ever been to? 5:00 - Katy Perry's Teenage Dream concert (Idol why did you not show this ).
