Best Season 8 Knockout?

This season was a long time ago, but it definitely had some of the best KOs that I would 100% recommend and lots of fan favorite artists.

I personally think Sonic, India, Caitlin, and Nathan are all tied for having the best KOs that season, with Koryn, Kimberly, and Lexi falling closely behind. I actually didn't enjoy Sawyer or especially Meghan's KOs at all, but I figured it would've been awkward not to include the first and second placers that season.

Lexi's Anything Could Happen sold me ngl. Followed closely by Joshua's and Mia's. Remember digging Sonic's as well

This is a really hard one. Leaning towards Koryn, but Kim and Mia are also among my all-time favorites.

Out of the poll, Mia Z. I thought she actually outdid Sawyer in this round. Nathan and Koryn were fantastic surprises too.

 

But as for my favorite of S8 overall, I´d have to give it to Joshua.

I distinctly remember (almost all of) the S8 teens kicking major ass in their KO's.

I think Koryn's was the biggest surprise so I voted her here.

But Koryn, Brooke, Lexi, Sawyer, Mia... all of them did fantastic

Interesting coincidence, I've been reading Slezak's reviews for the previous seasons (backward, it's really weird—I start at the finale then go to the blinds), and I'm on season 8 rn! I haven't reached the knockouts, but I'm getting an sneak peek rn!

Slezak didn’t give letter grades in prelives. He started in the playoffs usually. I didn’t really care for his prelive rankings that much, but when he started grading that’s when his reviews got more interesting.

Mia has so many tools to play with.  Of course she has range and power but she can turn on a growl, vibrato, various timbres and a whistle like that and then turn it right back off.

How did IDF respond to the Kimberly vs Koryn KO? Did most think that Koryn won? I think I remembered some comments leaning towards her, since Kimberly´s IDF empire started with her Playoffs performance.

Yeah, I see that. It's definitely more interesting in the lives, since I can focus on the fewer names that are still in contention + there are letter grades. It's interesting to see things backward, though, seeing someone's elimination before seeing Slezak's first opinion on them.
