Michael Lee is an example that comes to my mind. I don´t know if Addison likes country, but I could see her in this category too. 


You mentioned Addison. Yes, she likes country, and can sing it. She grew up listening to it too. I think her mom is a country fan.

I can see the influence in some of her new songs, especially “My Kitchen Floor.”

Yeah, country isn’t all about twang. It’s a certain way of phrasing and story telling. Those who are true fans of the genre can tell the difference. It’s obvious by the way Brynn sang HCG that she’s been exposed to it a lot. Not just any pop singer can pull that off. She even threw in some twang.
